🟦 MPs simply restating what many of us have been saying for some time.
Where's the accountability for all these failures?
Action is long overdue.
"It would appear that the woefully inadequate Ofcom is a regulator that simply is not regulating" 🔥🔥🔥
Today MPs gave Ofcom some urgently-needed scrutiny in Parliament. But there's lots more work to do - let's keep up the momentum: stopfundinghate.info/get-inv…

Gutted to hear Sir Patrick Stewart has died. As Captain Picard, he shaped the way so many of us saw the future: thoughtful, curious, humane. An irreplaceable loss.
🟦 CLEAN FEED | And another great example from the end of last night's EastEnders on BBC One.
🟦 CLEAN FEED | An example of the kind of creativity we don't see as much of these days from TV Presentation.
Full marks for this - a dolphin shoving Celebrity Race Around the World's endboard out of the way to make way for a promo for BP.

To everything there is a season and my time as the “English fella who does the weather” is coming to an end at Christmas.
But rather amused to be taking a trip in the @BelTel Time Machine with a clean shaven, 13 year old picture from when I started at BBC NI.
Senior weather presenter Geoff Maskell is leaving BBC Northern Ireland.

A massive thanks to everyone who's written to their MP about Ofcom's repeated failure to enforce its rules. Tomorrow MPs will be holding a much-needed debate about the "role and effectiveness" of this dysfunctional body 👏👏👏commonslibrary.parliament.uk…

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

🟦 Not entirely sure where this rogue image originated but most of the branding we've seen for the new series does have the correct logo.

Sad to hear about the passing of Walter Koenig. From the unforgettable Ensign Pavel Chekov on the Enterprise to his brilliant turn as Bester in Babylon 5, he brought so much heart to sci-fi.
RIP Walter. You have officially left the bridge, but your watch will never be forgotten.
