He looks up slowly, toothbrush hanging out of his mouth. His hair is sopping wet still, and it's soaking the back of his shirt. "What?"

It's not AXE.... It just— smells like Carl after he showers, is all. Lucas kneels again, digging through the cupboard under the sink.

He's spraying this body mist everywhere, because it smells good. He stares at it a moment before pocketing it.

Lucas raises his brows, not looking up from the book as he turns the page again, simply pretending to read at this point. Who gives a fuck about Moby or the dick? Stupid.

Lucas casually turns the page of his book— not that he can comprehend it very well. It's a bit over his head, considering his education stopped somewhere in middle school, but he's doing the best he can with it. "For?" he asks.

God, Carl really knew how to get under Lucas skin. He turns his downturned-eyed stare on Carl, face void of emotion save for that tiny crease between his brows that always seemed to give him away. "How about you just sit with me," he says.

Boyfriend is a strong word. Very strong. "Maybe she doesn't like being touched either, hm?"

It's so... irritating. "Go hug a friend."

Lucas' thin freckled nose wrinkles at the thought. He isn't a touchy person.

Right, of course. How could he forget? "Do you need something?"
