New body to examine options for Irish unity, says Taoiseach

This jumped out at me last night.
Why did Stephen Nolan suddenly stop attempting to take control of the discussion here?
Stephen Nolan
'The police don't assess, don't obsess if someone is upset or not'
Also Stephen Nolan
'The feelings of the Provisional IRA'
If the DUP party officers vote to withdraw Emma Little Pengelley from her role Sinn Fein need to walk away from Stormont.
If you cannot understand why the people of Derry would not want the British Army recruiting in their city then you lose the absolute right to discuss victims of the conflict here.
Obvious lessons have not be learned from RHI?
A Stormont department did not keep records of calls and in-person meetings linked to the controversial proposed allocation of funds to a football club.

This is the level of absurdity we are asked to accept as impartial broadcasting.
Complaining about the 'feelings' of one community being considered whilst appearing to turn a blind eye to the negative influence of still armed and active loyalist paramilitaries on our society?
When the obvious is pointed out yet you still cannot grasp the levels of hypocrisy, or mental gymnastics you employ, to dismiss the worries over the influence of still armed and active loyalist paramilitaries on our society whilst complaining about the 'feelings' of others.
Rumour has it the 'dissident letterbomb' was posted in August.

A Stormont department did not keep records of calls and in-person meetings linked to the controversial proposed allocation of funds to a football club.
A Freedom of Information (FoI) expert says the lack of records is “strange and puzzling” and raises “disconcerting questions” about whether “officials are consistently failing to record matters adequately”.
It follows revelations that Education Minister Paul Givan wanted to allocate £30,000 to a Co Armagh football team, Richhill AFC.

More than 50% of people in NI back move to ban Orange Order parade at Drumcree
irishtimes.com/politics/2026…
Up to 25 people involved in his abduction and murder. Many of those paid agents of the state.
That seeker of justice for all remains awful quiet.
That bringer of a new & moderate unionism has suddenly lost his voice.
Can he do equality? Even in victimhood?
Is there a direct correlation between the desperation of political unionism and the absurdity of the reporting by certain media outlets?
Hate and antagonism. That's all they ve got. But the usual suspects will tell you 'it's only 35 old men'.
The elephant in the six county room that is continually ignored.
The hate for Catholicism and anything Irish.
