0.4.0 is one of the most ambitious things I've ever done. If everything goes right, you'll finally get to see it on Monday. Going from a release pace of updates every 2-3 days to nothing for 2 weeks has its reasons, and you'll all get to see it (and feel it) soon.

Omarchy's dock shipped in 4.5 RC1. Try it today. 🫨 Press Super + L on any workspace to cycle tile → scroll → float. A floating workspace gives you: ▸ Windows with titlebars in your theme's colours ▸ A dock with pinned apps, everything running and a grid of every app ▸ Super + M to minimize a window to the dock ▸ Move it or auto-hide it from Trigger › Appearance › Dock It's per workspace, so workspace 1 can stay tiled while workspace 2 floats. It's in Omarchy 4.5 RC1. Back up before you switch channels. 🎥 @omarchy Tiling purists: would you ever float a workspace?

Hit my 5h limit on the Max plan with 37% of my weekly left. I upgraded to Ultra and it now says I’ve used 100% of my weekly limit and have to wait until Sunday. So I just paid $106.82 to force a weekly limit? @lydiahallie @bcherny help please

Speechless tbh, Flea will be moving to the OPR exclusively and will rework how to handle fast pre-built updates for you guys before 0.4.0. This community is indeed full of clowns.

I can’t imagine @omarchy without Flea. An incredibly polished file manager, meticulously engineered. I’ve seen some of the work @thisisgm puts into building and maintaining it behind the scenes, and the attention to quality, security, and every last detail is on another level.

Thanks to @thisisgm we now have flea's search optimizations in oma-cast! rust based, so you know its blazingly fast. This is optional (for now) and you can run `build-search` in the CLI

All done, @typecraft_dev! Flea’s QML/Qt frontend is retiring soon, so oma-cast felt like the perfect home for these optimizations. Search is now up to 6x faster than what ships today. Side quest done. Back to 0.4.0.
