A pilot flying a load of skydivers spotted the wreck a mile away.
He didn’t ask permission.
He didn’t wait for a meeting.
He didn’t hesitate.
He got on the radio and said: “I can drop jumpers RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM.”
Three skydivers — two of them former EMTs — parachuted into that field, fought through the corn, and started treating a serious head injury before ground crews even got there.
ALL FOUR PEOPLE ON THAT PLANE SURVIVED. 🇺🇸🙏

This was not simply an “altercation between pilots”. The co-pilot stabbed the captain, attempted to take over the aircraft with mostly Israeli citizens on board, children included. Passengers forcibly subdued the attacker after the plane dove 15,000 feet.

Flydubai jet bound for Tel Aviv was thrown into chaos when the co-pilot from Oman stabbed the captain. The plane plunged 14,000 feet in 29 seconds and the Squawk 7500 hijack code was signaled.
Crew and passengers smashed through the cockpit door and off-duty pilot in the cabin helped level the aircraft as Israeli fighter jets were scrambled.
174 passengers were on board. Officials say the intent was crash the plane into the city. It's being treated as a terror attack.
This could have been catastrophic.
