She has been my failed council person for the last six years. She refused to remove homeless encampments from in front of my son’s school, rolling her eyes at parents. She wanted to blame auto makers for people stealing catalytic converters. I’ve had two breaking attempts at my home in the last six months - just say no.
Nithya Raman wants a promotion to Mayor of Los Angeles. But what has she actually delivered as a City Councilmember?
Before we hand her the keys to our city, let’s take a hard look at her record.
Our closing argument: Promises don’t equal results.

Nithya Raman claims to fight for working people, but her candidacy is funded to the tune of $50,000 by Todd Wexman, who built his fortune on the backs of exploited workers.

There should be two Nithya Ramans on the ballot, because voters are getting different answers depending on what’s politically convenient.
You may not always agree with me, but you never have to question where I stand.

Thrilled to have the support of my longtime friend @PeteButtigieg. I had the privilege of working on his barrier-breaking run for president, and Pete represents the new voice and new ideas that we need to bring to our politics. This one means a lot! And I’m deeply grateful.

While I appreciate the sentiment, as a small business owner in her district who has dealt with her office numerous times, I have found her office to be blockers and obstructionists. One time they even called and threatened to go to DBS and revoke my permits. A total 180 vs my 6 years of experience with her office.
The City is making it almost impossible to level up in the Small Business Game. As Mayor, I’ll make sure you have a fighting chance to beat the bureaucratic bosses, and collect the coins our neighborhoods need to power back up.
We’ve already lost gems like Oil Can Harry’s, the Federal, and Un Solo Sol – I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your favorite spot still thrives.
Days before the election, Nithya Raman’s campaign manager @jeffreymillman is tweeting obsessively about… us.
Flattered, Jeff. We get it. If our job were defending Nithya’s record and radical policies, we’d want to talk about literally anything else too. 🧵
In 2020, Nithya called those allegations “deeply upsetting.”
Now Jacobs consults for the Carpenters union, which endorsed her in August and reportedly put $3 million behind her. Labor Dept. filings show millions to his firm from Carpenters-affiliated groups.
Also in August: Jacobs was front and center when Nithya toured the Carpenters’ Sylmar training center.
Then her campaign quietly deleted the photos.
We talk about this and a lot more here: nitter.cf/thrive_la/status/21133…
Jeff would rather talk about anything but his candidate’s record. Voters are allowed to look at it anyway.

This is a great point and another reason to vote for @KarenBassLA. We need the far-left, DSA radicals in LA to “take a major step backwards”.

Bass told me she doesn't think Raman is "honest...she changes her positions."
Bass admits she's made mistakes in the job but says Raman is "not ready for primetime."

LA please! John McKinney is a great candidate for City Attorney. This is a crucial role for enforcing the laws. The DSA Roy has NEVER tried a case and will NOT prosecute criminals. We can not let the lawlessness we've seen in France happen in LA.
