I have absolutely no doubt Andy Burnham will attempt to paper over this, knowing his words at PMQs are protected by parliamentary privilege. But parliamentary privilege doesn't shield a Prime Minister from public scrutiny. The British public heard exactly what he said. We have a Prime Minister asleep at the wheel, and this raises more serious questions about his judgement.
