🌎🕊️ We would like to share a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in #ThyKingdomCome 2026
Whether you prayed at home, gathered with your church, used this year’s resources, prayed for Five, or shared content online, it has been a real blessing to join with millions of Christians across the world in prayer.
May the prayers offered during these 11 days continue to bear fruit, drawing many to the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. 🙏
"My encouragement to young people or anyone – just be ready to say yes to God. I am always offering to God, you show me and I will go. I am always willing and ready."
- The Rt Reverend Rose Hudson Wilkin, Bishop of Dover

We invite you to join us online as we pray for more children and young people to know the love of Christ.
Every Tuesday at 1 pm (BST), the Church of England hosts a specific prayer meeting to see a doubling of Children and Young People by 2030.
Would you consider taking the time to pray for children and young people across all denominations and traditions or even hosting a prayer meeting in your own church or network?
Together, we can see the next generation transformed by the power of God.

*Prayer of the Day*
Empowering God,
We bring before you those who feel abandoned and powerless.
Those working in low paid jobs and who are still unable to make ends meet.
Those who are sacrificially caring for a relative or friend with no respite.
We bring those whose suffering goes unnoticed and unheeded.
Empowering God, give to them a deep ability to trust and rest in you and give us courage to not only notice but to sacrificially give support wherever we can as, as if we were doing it for you.
Amen.
“Think of prayer as a relationship. If you are in a relationship and you don’t have any communication, then that relationship is not going to grow. I think of prayer, clearly, as being in the acknowledged presence of God and in relationship with God.”
- Archbishop Desmond Tutu

*Prayer of the Day*
Into this bittersweet corridor of life, Lord we bring our prayers.
Father, here joy and sadness rub shoulders as lives come to an end and new ones burst into being.
Lord, let us pray for vision to see you in every person we meet and to feel you in every moment of mixed emotions.
By your grace, allow us to receive you, as if for the first time, right now as we pray Your Kingdom Come.
Amen.

My daily prayers remain with Pope Leo XIV following his cancer diagnosis, and I assure the Holy Father and the Catholic faithful of the prayers of the Church of England and the Anglican Communion.
I pray that the Holy Spirit – the Comforter, Healer and Giver of Life – will sustain him in the days and weeks ahead, and that his recovery will be swift and complete.
We join with Archbishop of Canterbury in sending our prayers of healing to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.
'The Lord blesses His people with peace.'
Psalm 29:11

And be thankful.

*Prayer of the Day*
God of life and love, we pray for the refreshing of your spirit on all those who bring the good news to our communities and on those who minister in your name in corridors of power; be it in prisons, in schools and in places of healing.
Lord Jesus, let Your Kingdom Come in word and deed we pray.
Amen.
"For we are so preciously loved by God that we cannot even comprehend it."

*Prayer of Day*
Dear Jesus,
Lord and Saviour, we bring to you our friends and family members.
We have prayed Lord and tried to show your love to them.
Give us faithfulness to continue seeking you for each one of them until that day when they turn to you with joy.
Amen.
Three principles of prayer:
1. Keep it honest.
2. Keep it simple.
3. Keep it up.
