RIP Steve Ellis, lead singer of Love Affair, who made this late 60s absolute belter
He had a great voice

A fabulous time spent in the Tea Bar pre match today for our Remembrance TWTD heritage event. Thank you to the many visitors who made it such a success; fans, former players, young and old, and service personnel alike. Full roundup to follow. #CFCHeritage
Not sure booing Gusto when he comes on is helpful, to him or the team, especially when Chelsea are winning 2-0 at the time.
The guy's confidence surely needs encouragement, not hostility.
For anyone unlucky enough to be up at this time on a Saturday, I am due on @bbc5live at 06.20 to discuss today's game.
A game I am increasingly less confident about...

I have some good news for my old maths teacher.
Now I drive a van delivering to Greggs in Hull, Grimsby & Bradford, proving that I can take pie to three dismal places.
I remember leaving Anfield after Hazard had scored a superb goal to win an LC tie a few years back & the glorious silence on the packed corporation bus back to Lime Street.
Tonight will be tough, I'm sure, but 6,000 Blues are travelling up in hope. Bring on another silent bus...
RIP Peter Dobing, who scored for Stoke City at Stamford Bridge in Sept 1967, the first goal I ever saw in a Chelsea game.
He captained Stoke to victory against us in the 1972 League Cup Final.
15 years ago today, the epic @pitchowners SGM where the club's attempt to buy back the Stamford Bridge freehold was defeated by CPO shareholders at a highly charged meeting.
Those supporters who were there are unlikely to forget it

4 beer company CEOs walk into a bar...
The CEO of Budweiser orders a Bud Light.
The CEO of Miller orders a Miller Light.
The CEO of Coors orders a Coors Light.
The CEO of Guinness orders a Coke.
The first three ask the CEO of Guinness why he didn't order a Guinness, to which he replied:
"I figured if you 3 weren't ordering beer, it would be rude for me to."

I haven’t posted here for ages, but I want people to share my wife’s GoFundMe if possible. She has been wonderful in the most important roles in life – as a mother, grandmother and a teacher. Please donate if you can. Thanks

"You can stick your new stadium up your arse" sing the United support.
Reinforcing the point that the performance of the team is the most important thing for match-going supporters.
Watching the two Spurs goals on MOTD they seemed even worse than they did live. If you were being kind you could say that Pender's error was one of those things. The second goal was worse, the collective lack of will to tackle/block Tel an utter embarrassment.

Frank Blunstone, 92 last week, was at yesterday's game. Lifelong supporter @Barrett01Robert met him last week and gave him a collection of cuttings I collated from across his career. These are reproduced here in a post on the @cfc_heritage website.
It was an absolute pleasure to help @Barrett01Robert source cuttings for Frank Blunstone to mark his 92nd birthday.
Frank, the oldest living England international, was a member of Drake's 54/55 title winners & Doc's 62/3 promotion team.
Among the cuttings I found were these :-
What a pleasure to catch up today with the great Frankie Blunstone. Will be at the game tomorrow as guest of @ChelseaFC Thanks to @tim_rolls for all his help in sourcing newspaper cuttings including details of Frank’s debuts for Crewe, Chelsea and England, wonderful stuff we could have talked for days, what a career and that’s only half of it #Cfcfamily

Happy 92nd birthday to the wonderful Frankie Blunstone 🎂🎉🥳I spoke to Frank yesterday and he was in marvellous form. The club have invited him down to the game next week which Frank is looking forward to particularly as he told me “on his debut for the Club he scored the winning goal against them back in 1953!” @ChelseaFC @1JamesCHELSEA @eddiemacbawa @tim_rolls @onlyapound @MartinKnight_ #Cfcfamily
