As Rishi says, 30mph is a good British speed in that it embodies the good old fashioned British sense of fair play and healthy competition. Maybe the car will come out on top or maybe the cycling child will. At 20mph the child will usually live, which seems unfair on the car. 🇬🇧
Stayed in an @Airbnb with my wife, missed the part where host wanted the beds stripped (1. Wat? 2. Not on the “house rules”, hidden in an email). We received a bad review and a charge for an additional €15 euros cleaning fee. Absurd. Better off in a hotel.

A society of people who willingly wore their masks during the pandemic would be a kind of utopia. Why? Because they're people who make a personal choice to inconvenience themselves slightly for the perceived/potential benefit of others.
Just spent an hour buying travel insurance to go to Europe. Thanks Brexit, what a fucking waste of time.

I haven't been up this late socialising with friends for more than a year! It's so great. Fully expect to remember tomorrow why I usually regret staying up so late socialising with friends.
In solidarity with the students I am having fajitas for dinner #studentlockdown
