"The tiger did nothing wrong." "...innocent tiger."
The tiger isn't innocent or guilty, nor is it capable of doing right or wrong because it has no conscience nor morality. That is the very reason it should've been shot to save a human being who does.
I've seen many people saying the tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park should have been shot when the man entered its enclosure.
I couldn't disagree more.
From the footage I've seen, it looks extremely difficult to even get into that enclosure in the first place.
And from what I've heard, the staff did an incredible job reacting as quickly as they did, while showing restraint and avoiding killing an innocent tiger.
These are apex predators. They are extremely dangerous animals that will naturally attack humans when confronted in their territory.
Hopefully this magnificent animal isn't put down in the aftermath of this tragedy.
The tiger did nothing wrong.

In a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court cleared the way for President Donald Trump to continue building the White House ballroom, rejecting a challenge from a preservation group that was seeking to indefinitely halt the controversial project. cnn.it/4qPNeFx
If you had told me that one of the conservative justices on the Court had written a dissenting opinion holding that a historical expert can have an "aesthetic injury" sufficient to give them standing to challenge the construction of the ballroom, Chief Justice Roberts - a stickler for standing doctrine - would have been the last one I would have expected it from. More than Thomas or Alito. I would have been wrong.
Can't wait. We're going in

All this American outrage over the Odyssey casting and no one is gonna call out that Young Washington is portrayed by a bloody brit?
What is this? What are we doing @USAWrestling ?
Added context to this Manning video:
A USA Wrestling committee is voting today/tomorrow on who gets the spot at 97. Manning obviously wants McDanel to get the nod, who won U23 Nationals.
It's likely between Barr, Rademacher, and McDanel.
The problem/disconnect is that USA Wrestling outlined back in November that, this year, for whatever reason, there were no U23 World Team Trials. Instead, there was simply a U23 Nationals this year.
And, the criteria this year said the top 4 on the senior ladder have the first right to the spot. If no one qualifies in the top 4, the coaches will simply pick someone.
@MatScouts1 and I talked about the wonky process this year back on this show a few weeks ago, timestamped here: youtube.com/watch?v=qLZbMPyY…
So, a few things:
1) USA Wrestling clearly did not do a good job communicating the criteria, as it seems Manning was under the impression (as others were) that this was a "World Team Trials" event, which it was not.
2) It's very odd that USA Wrestling is outright picking who makes the team at certain spots. I'm confident the pick will be good, whoever they are, but it is still very weird and un-USA Wrestling-like. I agree with what @MatScouts1 tweeted that it's a slippery slope.
3) @T_Ram133 pointed out in a tweet that it sounds like this decision on this criteria was a result of what coaches wanted.
We should know who gets the spot this week, but one thing's for sure - hopefully @USAWrestling goes back to having a true World Team Trials for the U23 spot.
When the mainstream media realizes from where hantavirus got its name, they'll change it like they did covid-19.
