Was Northwestern in the wing all night? When I started seeing highlights, I assumed they just hopped into some stuff randomly, but looks like they were in it consistently. Awesome!

Something that’s not a wing-T formation must have a really complicated name if a wing-T team decides to get in it… Wait, Tubby called that “Red”? I love following @AlbertBreer, but this is one of the issues with reporters making definitive statements about scheme.

This isn’t a wing-T formation but it certainly is a wing-T concept. That’s 31 trap if I’ve ever seen it, with 28 sweep and a waggle on the backside off it. Like Novocaine. Always works. Chris Alexis and Eric Davis broke our school rushing record on this play alone.

🎙️ POSTGAME LIVE | COACH WOODY CAGNOLATTI St. Martin head coach Woody Cagnolatti joined Coast Football’s Postgame Live after the Yellow Jackets moved to 6-0, and he talked about something that has become a big part of this team’s success: starting fast and setting the pace. Cagnolatti explained that getting out in front early isn’t just about putting points on the scoreboard. It puts pressure on the opponent, allows the defense to play from a favorable position and lets St. Martin dictate how the game is played. “We want to play at our pace.” So far, that formula has worked pretty well for the unbeaten Yellow Jackets. 🎥 Hear what Coach Woody had to say on Coast Football Postgame Live. #StatThat | @CoastFootball @GazeboGazette @StMartinFB

🎙️ The Real Gazebo Gazette POSTGAME LIVE | ST. MARTIN Sometimes the biggest impact doesn’t come from the biggest player on the field. St. Martin head coach Woody Cagnolatti had plenty of praise for sophomore linebacker Liam Walters after the Yellow Jackets moved to 6-0. Coach Woody called Walters an undersized player, but said what stands out is how hard he plays, his intelligence and how he always seems to be around the football. “He’s just a little bulldog, man.” Walters played JV as a freshman and was playing baseball coming into the spring, so the coaching staff wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Once he joined them, though, Cagnolatti said it clicked immediately. Now the sophomore has become an important piece of a St. Martin defense led by senior Aaden Jackson. 🎥 Hear Coach Woody talk about one of his young defensive standouts on Coast Football Postgame Live. #Week6 | @CoastFootball
