FOXBORO — In the sea of chaos that is college football in 2026, it’s nice to know there are still things to count on, like Notre Dame and Navy.
The longtime combatants brought the 99th edition of their rivalry to Gillette Stadium for the… bostonherald.com/2026/10/31/…
Notre Dame 35, Navy 13 final from Gillette. Irish dominate the second half, outscoring the Midshipmen 21-0 to pull away.
Navy's upset window is quickly closing here at Gillette after Nolan James Jr.'s second TD on the game makes it 28-13 for Notre Dame.
After Notre Dame scores on its first possession of the second half, Navy forced to punt for the first time on its opening possession. This feels like a critical time in the game for the Middies to stay within striking distance, or the Irish to begin pulling away.
Looked like Navy might be able to lead into the lockeroom but a 52-yard burst from Nolan Jones Jr. sends Notre Dame into the break ahead 14-13.
Three possessions, three red zone trips for Navy this far. This time they get the TD on Jackson Gutierrez keeper and the Middies have a 13-7 lead with under 2 to play in the first half. Playing keep away from the Notre Dame offense.
Navy continues to do what it needs to, shortening the game with extended possessions, but has now stalled twice in the red zone. A second FG cuts Notre Dame's lead to 7-6 with 8:04 left in the half.
Lightning-fast first quarter at Gillette with long drives by both teams, but Notre Dame cashed in its red zone chance for a 7-3 lead.
Not quite on upset alert yet, but Navy did chew up over 8 minutes on the first drive of the day before settling for a FG. Middies need to play keep away from the ND offense.
Here at Gillette Stadium for @BosHeraldSports where the 99th edition of the Notre Dame-Navy rivalry will be played. Kickoff in just a few mins.

WEYMOUTH – There was little doubt which team had more to play for in Thursday night’s Bay State Conference clash of Wildcats as host Weymouth was essentially playing for its postseason fate.
That motivation fueled Weymouth to a halftime … bostonherald.com/2026/10/29/…
Milton 27, Weymouth 20. Dubios 4 TD runs powers win in battle of Wildcats.

Huge interception for Milton's Neil Sullivan, and they will attempt to kill the last 2:33 leading 27-20.
What a game for Milton's Jayden Dubios, who funds the end zone to give his team a 27-20 lead with 5:53 left.

Milton opens the second half with a 65-yard drive. Dubios punches it in from the 1 for his third rushing TD and the game is tied at 20-20.

Weymouth 20, Milton 13 halftime.
Milton drives to the 6 but two shots to the end zone fall incomplete and the hosts take the lead into the locker room. Weymouth gashing Milton on the ground -- have yet to throw an official pass.

Brendan Flynn with his second TD of the game to give Weymouth a 20-13 lead. He had two called back on holds in the previous possession, but a Nate Bessette interception gave the hosts another shot in close.

Response from Milton as Dubois gets his second TD rush of the game, this one a 10-yarder. PAT no good after a personal foul though, and Weymouth stays on top 14-13 with 6:24 left in the half.

Wow. After grinding away on the last possession, Weymouth scores with two chunk runs, the second a 45-yard burst up the middle by Owen Halpenny, and Weymouth leads 14-7.
