At least once every few days I'm extremely puzzled by someone retweeting a reply of mine that no one could possibly care about or understand on its own.
A fully impractical theory
In When Everyone Knows That Everyone Knows..., I explain the famous theorem (50 years old next year) by Israeli mathematician and Nobel laureate Robert Aumann that rational people with the same background understanding of the world (they have the same priors) who share their assessments of a hypothesis (their posteriors are common knowledge) cannot agree to disagree (those posteriors must be the same). Still going strong, Aumann discusses the theorem in this interview. youtu.be/EriI3JkadRg?si=BANE… via @YouTube

GoFundMe adopted a policy following the Jan6 Capitol riot that it would not allow fundraising for any person charged with a crime of violence.
I think GoFundMe needs to hear from X about the apparent change in policy. @gofundme

FACT CHECK: The New York Times strikes again, calling Trump’s claim “basically” true. That’s like calling Everest “basically” a hill. This isn’t mere understatement—it’s a deliberate attempt to cloud undeniable facts. The Times won’t admit it, but most of the time, Trump is just right.

ALT Ah, The New York Times, that perennial font of semantic gymnastics, has outdone itself by labeling Trump's claim as "basically" true. One can only marvel at the Times' flair for understatement. To call something "basically" true when it is, in fact, undeniably true is a bit like describing Mount Everest as "basically" a hill. It's not a mild understatement—it's an attempt to wrap fact in a wooly sweater of doubt, hoping readers won't notice the bright, blazing reality underneath. But, of course, the Times must preserve its reputation for lofty equivocation, lest it accidentally admit that sometimes, just sometimes, Trump can be right without needing their editorial cushion of condescension.

Theoretically I see nothing in this ruling to suggest that President Hillary Clinton or President Donald Trump (whose Administration actually entertained the plan, whereas there's no credible evidence Hillary ever said anything to this effect) couldn't drone-strike Assange, claiming it was necessary for national security, and be automatically immunized from any criminal liability on the grounds that the conduct falls within their unchallengeable Article II powers
Replying to @mtracey
So hypothetically the purported/allleged idea HRC had to drone Assange had it been ordered by the President would be fair game under the pretense of “national security”?

Pay close attention to Dana Bash’s hands during this clip from the CNN debate ⚠️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Go to debate and start at about 19:00; Biden is finishing an answer about abortion.
At 19:23, Trump's mic is not live, but he is still trying to respond to Biden's last claim.
At 19:24, Dana is seen pointing to Tapper, to indicate that they have moved on.

YES or NO: Does a meeting between a prosecutor and the Vice President raise questions? White House records reveal Fani Willis met Kamala Harris months before indicting Trump. The purpose remains unclear. Retweet if you seek clarity on potential conflicts of interest!

This is probably the best rant I have seen from Gutfeld. Ever.
Journalism has been killing itself for decades. It doesn’t deserve our sympathy now.
Return to objective coverage. And stop making 75% of your “news” shows talking heads offering opinions. Maybe things will turn around .
