the thing that exhausts me about nigerian electoral discussions is how voting is framed as some type of charity to one group or another. you’re not doing anyone a favour by voting whichever way you choose. your vote is not a gift, an act of solidarity or whatever.
Whooshhhhh the Unrivaled teams are fire!, Beeeze fc ♾️. I’m so excited to watch this season, some surprising pairings there it’ll be so much fun.

Nigerians!
Please do it for the woman that pretended to be mad and hid her daughter in a ditch so she won’t be taken, do it for Pelumi Onifade, the victims of EndSARS massacre, the victims of Owo massacre, our brothers and sisters in the North that we don’t even get to hear of

One thing Nigeria teaches you very quickly is that personal discipline cannot always compensate for institutional dysfunction. You can make all the right decisions and still suffer the consequences of systems you have absolutely no control over.
I really can’t wait to see Hannah Hildago play in the WNBA league, I pray she’s not drafted to a team that will not let her grow or show her skills.

Tiffany Hayes announced her retirement in 2023 after her 11th WNBA season, citing a variety of reasons including the wear and tear on her body. Just 5 months later, the Aces convinced her to play again to win a championship, something she had never done. The Aces fell short that season, but she kept going. 37 years old and 413 career regular season games played, the most of any player in WNBA history without winning a title. That streak ends today. Tip Hayes is a champion. Perseverance. #valkyries

In 2024 just before the season opener, Veronica Burton learned she had been cut by the Dallas Wings. After being drafted 7th overall in 2022, it just never quite clicked. She averaged just 2.4ppg in 2023. Burton says she was embarrassed, she went home & worked out in a YMCA with her high school coach, waiting for her shot. The Connecticut Sun picked her up later that season, and the Valkyries saw her special potential. They picked her in the expansion draft, she was the 2025 WNBA Most Improved Player, and now she’s a champion. Resilience. #valkyries
The present government has a hand in this and till today they denied this ever happened, making it see like it was all imagined for propaganda. We really do not detest this government enough.
The present deputy governor whom they want to pass the baton to had zero empathy too.
So this is what it looks like to watch fans crash out when they lose, I’m sure I don’t do this. All of you switching sides because they didn’t win are not real supporters.
I just want to say again that nobody does it like @LVAces media team and team generally 🫡
