DANIEL PENNY'S LAWYER WROTE A THRILLER ABOUT A PRESIDENT-ELECT WITH A DEADLY SECRET?! 👀🔥
And apparently, it's getting a little TOO CLOSE to real life! 😂
I brought attorney Tom Kenniff, who helped defend Marine veteran Daniel Penny, onto my show to find out how Penny's doing after his acquittal.
Turns out, he's still in NYC, working in finance and getting on with his life!
But Tom's got another fascinating story: His new novel, Tuxedo Park, involves a presidential candidate, a pregnant mistress, and a sinister plot to make a VERY inconvenient problem disappear.
And get this... his debut thriller briefly OUTRANKED bestselling author David Baldacci!
We got into all of it on "Early Bird With Ed Martin," on @RealAmVoice!

The J6 pardons were a blessing, but the pardons didn't magically put these families' lives back together. The financial devastation, lost careers, broken families, and trauma these children endured didn't disappear with the stroke of a pen.
This is why I continue to do this work. There is still so much to be done, and I refuse to walk away from these families.
Thank you, @EagleEdMartin for having me on your show and for standing alongside me in this fight since the beginning. You know firsthand what these families have endured.
Through @WeaponizeWatch, we will continue the work. The pardons were not the end of the story. ❤️🇺🇸
THE J6 PARDONS CAME... BUT WHO'S HELPING THE FAMILIES STILL PICKING UP THE PIECES? 💔
Cynthia Hughes is a FORCE OF NATURE!
I've worked alongside Cynthia, and I've seen firsthand how she's fought for J6 families, especially the children whose lives were turned upside down when their parents went to prison. She even brought these kids face-to-face with President Trump.
Now she's taking that fight even further with @WeaponizeWatch.
We talked about the heartbreak, the families still struggling, and why Cynthia REFUSES to give up on them.
This is one POWERFUL conversation!

FORT HOOD EXECUTION DEBATE
Veteran and defense attorney Tom Kenniff questions the idea of livestreaming Nidal Hasan’s execution, arguing that while the punishment is one issue, broadcasting a death to the public crosses a very different line.

“Livestreaming it, I don’t know. We’re not Afghanistan, this isn’t ancient Rome. Part of me, as someone who wore the uniform… says yeah, we should watch him die. There’s another part of me that says that maybe that’s not where this country should be in 2026. Not the punishment but the broadcasting of it.”
Veteran & criminal defense attorney @tomkenniff reacts to the announced public execution of Nidal Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist who murdered 13 individuals at Fort Hood on behalf of the Taliban.

When a high-profile sexual misconduct scandal engulfs a prominent university, behind-the-scenes maneuverings by campus officials, local politicians, and consulting firms may not align with providing true sensitivity and due process to the accuser and the accused. I've seen this from the inside, and wrote about it in my novel Open Bar, which was published last year by SparkPress and distributed by

The eternally-validated Camille Paglia on the Cornell case.
"The sexual revolution must be undone because middle-class women can't handle it. They cannot take responsibility for their own actions."

Column's up: The Cornell 7 witch-hunt: Jane Doe was just 20 years old and intoxicated. When she woke up the next day and realized she was the butt of campus gossip, she felt ashamed.
But our culture tells young women that there’s nothing shameful about promiscuity. So she converted her shame into a lawsuit.
nypost.com/2026/09/30/opinio…
This is the sort of "Monday morning regret" revisionism that is not only encouraged but demanded by the #MeToo movement.
Incredible reporting from the NYT.
The woman at Cornell did not consider herself a rape victim until she saw people making fun of her for being a slut.
She went to her "big sister" in her sorority and confessed that she had been a slut. Then while texting one of the men she reassured him that she enjoyed the first part of it and nothing illegal had happened.
Later, she texted him that she was traumatized. Not by the sex, but because everyone was laughing at her.
One week after her "rape," she was mad that she got disinvited from a party at the frathouse of her "rapists"!!!!!!!
Only a few days later, she decided that she was a "rape victim." Nobody would laugh at her anymore! She went from an object of ridicule and shame to a hero.
Once again, we need to have a serious conversation about how women are being lied to.
People do not respect sluts. Even at woke Ivy League universities. Human nature is what it is.
The lesson is women should protect their reputations by not doing things like this.
As politicians and partisans seem determined to condemn the "Cornell 7," let us take a moment to remember the "Martinsville 7" and the importance of the presumption of innocence @KirFlem @mirandadevine @gregkellyusa
