Trump told Leslie Stahl something years ago that everyone should hear.
She asked Trump he kept calling the media fake news.
He said, I do it because I need to discredit you, so that when you say negative things about me, nobody believes you.
That is EXACTLY what he’s done.
The problem everyone has with him is that most of us grew up with values, ethics, and integrity.
That is not Donald Trump.
He figured out a long time ago that he can bully his way through any rule and if he keeps pushing harder and harder, people will relent.
For most of his life they did, but we must stand up against it.

WIMBLEDON: Victoria Mboko.
Worst fears were confirmed in The Independent newspaper on Friday. "The entry list has been updated for SW 19 and Mboko's name was removed. The No. 9 seed is dealing with 'an ongoing knee injury' stated an official Wimbledon entry list update."

I’m pretty sure Trump really doesn’t want this photo of his bald spot circulating… so whatever you do, do NOT retweet!

THE GREATEST MATCH IN TENNIS HISTORY
February 16, 1926 - 100th anniversary today.
Suzanne Lenglen vs Helen Wills – Cannes, France.
The two best women players of the day met in what was then dubbed, “The Match of the Century.”
Lenglen, 26, was an absolutely-unbeatable, balletic diva and six-time Wimbledon champion so popular that she was the main reason the All England Club, to accommodate her adoring crowds, moved to its current Church Road site in 1922.
Wills, a three-time U.S. champion, was a powerful, 20-year-old, wanna-be art student from northern California and destined for greatness. She eventually won 19 Grand Slam singles titles (one more than Evert and Navratilova) from 1923-1938 without ever playing in Australia.
Lenglen and Wills avoided each other for a few weeks during the 1926 French Riviera winter circuit before finally meeting in the final at the Carlton Club in Cannes. Many of the most prominent American journalists – Grantland Rice, James Thurber, Paul Gallico, John Tunis, Heywood Broun and Al Laney - traveled to France (pre-transAtlantic flights) to cover the event.
On the day, the scene was bedlam as about 4,000 spectators jammed into the grounds, while others perched in adjacent trees or on rooftops to watch. Lenglen won 6-3, 8-6. But most significant of all – they never met again. Wills got appendicitis and missed the subsequent French championships and Wimbledon. As for Lenglen, that same summer she was controversially late for a Wimbledon match with Queen Mary waiting to watch her. In all the hubbub, she eventually withdrew. Then, she turned pro and could never again compete in ‘amateur’ tournaments.
To this day, it remains truly the greatest story in tennis history.
A must read: ’The Goddess and the American Girl’ by Larry Englemann (1988).

In case you missed it during the hectic days surrounding Wimbledon last summer - here's the re-edited version of a (30 mins) 1975 radio documentary about Wimbledon that year featuring Arthur Ashe, Billie Jean King and a cast of colourful characters. nitter.cf/tomtebbutt/status/1944…
50 YEARS AGO
Sad that two major English outlets preferred not to air "Wimbledon 1975 - a Sound Portrait” during this year's event. It includes champions Ashe and BJK, a varied cast of characters - tournament officials, spectators etc. and BBC Radio of the Finals.
Milos Raonic calls it “a gem.” Excellent for a British-based audience.

How low can these guys go - so now one can question all Carlson's opinions on everything else! Just like Trump...SHAMELESS!
Tucker Carlson: “Tim Walz is obviously gay... Maybe he's not gay but he certainly seems gay... I don't have any evidence but he looks super gay to me.”
Tucker is literally in love with Tim Walz. Pass it on.

MELBOURNE Airport:
The first thing you see upon arrival in the terminal is this large sign promoting the Australian Open.
A bit surprising to see Naomi Osaka front and centre after so much time away from the game.

🇨🇦 Shapovalov out of Rome #ATP
Hi everyone, I’m really disappointed to be missing @InteBNLdItalia this year. I’ve been dealing with knee pain on court the last several months so my team and medical staff determined this is the best decision so I can get better soon. I’ll miss the Rome fans! See you all soon 🙏🏼

King behavior. 👑
You either accept everyone or you don’t. It’s that simple.
If you have to pick and choose your spots, then you don’t actually believe in inclusivity.
