PVE kept the game development cycle and funding alive, along with the cosmetics. Some of you PVP elitists are just too ego based to let others enjoy the fun they want to at their pace with friends.
Without PVE Tarkov players would simply just be playing other games and leaving the communities, streams, and spaces. It’s as simple as that.

Last time I played PVP a dude camped my body for 25mins trying to kill my team mate 😂 you PVP’ers don’t even want to PVP what’s the point
The PVE's are not a plague, they simply enjoy the mechanics of the game but don't have the time, mental effort or care to beat other players.
They keep the games alive and have more disposable income its a win for the PVP'er.
The game improves for everyone and devs
Am I doing it wrong or when you die in DMZ is it super expensive to revive your operator ?
I think you need to have a throwaway operator that you don't lvl up to keep raiding away and looting

Another notable change coming with update 1.2.0.0 will be improvements to PMC bots behavior and equipment in PvE mode.
The randomness in the number of PMC bots in raids will decrease, and on average, there will be a little more of them. The number of cases where they die before players even encounter them will be reduced by changing how they interact with Scavs and other PMC bots.
PMC bots will also better distribute across locations during raids. They will be more likely to appear at points of interest and in task areas, and will engage in firefights with Scavs and players more frequently.
The gear of PMC bots will become more varied and logical. High-level bots will utilize higher-quality equipment and weapons compared to low-level ones. A bot's faction will also influence the loadout, reflecting the specific PMC's allegiance to a certain side of the conflict.
Another small addition will be the introduction of PMC bots to the Labyrinth.
