In case some fans don’t realize why S.Coups’ immediate solution is to run back to the main stage: We all know through science that sound travels through space, and they were performing at a HUGE venue. The farther away they are from the main speakers, the more delayed the sound reaches their ears. The purpose of the earpieces is to make sure they’re on beat with the main speakers—which is also the sound that is being broadcasted on livestream. When their earpieces malfunctioned, they were MUCH farther out from the main stage, and they couldn’t sing nor perform on beat anymore because what they’re hearing is out of sync from the main speakers. That’s why S.Coups’ immediate remedy is to herd them back to the main stage so they can at least HEAR the beat better when they’re close to the main speakers as possible.
