Anthropic built Scion to keep up with the volume of code changes. My feed is full of people proud of shipping more code with AI.
Even before AI, I tried to write less code. Now that feels even more important. The goal is to keep improving the business with the smallest changes possible.
At BetKit, we are testing Utopia Loop: agents research, implement and review the smallest useful change. Observability tracks the outcome, and the coordinator checks it against the target.
Most changes should be tied to a metric and checked automatically. The idea is that humans set the long-term strategy and direction for the next cycle, while agents run the loop.
