It is possible to be a Christian and yet be a failure. By that I mean, just as Israel, while in the desert wandering, they're Israelites, they’re God’s people. They weren't where God meant them to be. They were halfway between where they used to be and where they ought to be.

There can be no deeper life until there has been life. There can be no progress in the way until we are in the way. All the efforts toward a deeper life will only bring disappointment unless we have settled the matter of repentance from dead works and the forgiveness of sins.

God saves a man from being a sinner so he might become a saint. He takes him out that he might lead him in. And the further “in” the man goes, the less he will have to say about where he used to be. It is not a mark of spirituality when I talk at length about what I used to be.

Are you weary of externals and long after God? God has His people everywhere who are in revolt, in revolt against pretense and textualism and externalism and tradition. They want to seek God for Himself through the Scriptures as revealed by the Holy Spirit. —A.W. Tozer #tozer

There are those who want to know God and grow on to be holy and to seek the face of Jesus. Have I described you? It isn't a question of how far you've gone, it's a question of which way you're headed. It isn't how far the arrow has sped but has the arrow left the bow? —A.W. Tozer

The difficulty with Christian teaching down the years as a rule, was not that men taught wrong doctrine, but that they didn’t live up to the doctrine they taught. Often a reformer had to rebuke men for holding the correct doctrine without having the inward reality. —A.W. Tozer

Always God urges men back to the center and always men by centrifugal force tend to fly out to the outer edge of things. Always, God wants men to have content and always men seek to be satisfied with words. --A.W. Tozer tozertalks.com

The world pressures us to conform, but as Christians, our calling is to be different, to be set apart. This transformation begins in solitude, where we allow God to renew our minds and reshape our hearts. --A.W. Tozer

The influence of society is pervasive, subtly shaping our thoughts, behaviors, and even our spiritual life. We need regular times of solitude to realign ourselves with God’s truth, and break free from society’s grip and keep our hearts focused on the eternal. —A.W. Tozer #tozer

Solitude is not just a retreat from the world; it is an essential practice for spiritual renewal. Just as Jesus withdrew to the mountains to commune with the Father, we too must retreat and recharge our spiritual strength and gain clarity in our walk with God. —A.W. Tozer

Did you know that your great sin is that the all-pervading Presence is here, and you can't feel Him. The Light shines and you can't see it. There is a Voice and you can't hear it. He was in the world and the world knew Him not. That, my friend, is a curse. —A.W. Tozer

The world you see around about you did not come into existence of itself, but it is an effect of that which the Bible calls the Word. The Word was, and the Word made the world. And remember that the world is always an effect, and the Word is always a cause.

This universe can be explained only by spiritual laws. This is a spiritual world and that is why the scientist never manages to get through to the root of things—never—because he deals only with things that he can see and touch and taste and experiment with. -A.W. Tozer

The Christ-loving soul becomes the habitation of Deity. Just as Moses saw the bush that burned with fire but was not consumed, so the soul that loves Jesus becomes a dwelling place for God." —A.W. Tozer tozertalks.com/tozer-talks-2…

The love of God is always present, but often it lies dormant like seeds in the ground. When a man loves Christ, the latent love of God bursts into life, and the soul becomes a garden where the flowers of grace can bloom. —A.W. Tozer tozertalks.com/tozer-talks-2…

It is not enough to know the truth; we must live it. Knowledge without obedience is like a tree without fruit—beautiful to look at but ultimately barren and unproductive. Our knowledge of God should drive us to deeper obedience, greater love, and more fervent service. —A.W. Tozer

The greatest battlefield in the Christian life is the mind. For here the enemy seeks to sow seeds of doubt, confusion, and distraction. We must fortify our minds with Scripture, guard against worldly influences, and stay alert to the subtle attacks of the enemy. --A.W. Tozer

The Scriptures are not a collection of idle words; they are the living, active Word of God, intended to transform us from the inside out. It is not enough to know the Truth; we must act on it, allowing it to shape our thoughts, our decisions, and our lives. —A.W. Tozer
