All this additional compute entering the market is probably bad for bitcoin unless it drastically reprices and makes mining profitable.
I'm sure the core Devs got it under control though.
Anthropic has set up a wet lab in San Francisco, their bio research has advanced beyond in silico. They are now conducting physical research both in-house and with external partners. The NYT also broke the news this morning that Anth now plans to scale its compute to 5 GW by the end of the year, and 10 GW within the next 16 months. Bio is next after math, and I think we are going to see some medical announcements much sooner than people are expecting.

The only way to achieve a decisive victory in this war and force Iran to sign a capitulation would most likely be using nukes.
Leaving emotions and humanitarian reasons aside, the problem is that everyone would then develop nuclear weapons as deterrence in response.
Nuking one country gives a short-term victory but leads to others arming with nukes in response.
This alone is reason enough not to do it for the war-hawks.
I don’t believe humanitarian reasons of nuclear fallout and the deaths of hundreds of thousands would deter neocons, though it should, because using nukes is evil.
