OFFICIAL RELEASE DAY: #Cryptorium (Sweden) - Through the Bowels of Ceaseless Dissonance (Death Metal) Cryptorium do justice to the classic Swedish death metal sound and moreover do it with an extra coating of filth and fuzzy rawness that makes it sound all the more vile and delectable. The passion the young members have is evident and it sure is infectious. Check out their sophomore album which is officially out now! NEW RELEASE PREORDER: #Dischordia (US) - Nocturne (Death Metal) Video stream #1: youtube.com/watch?v=BFeKYXO8… Video stream #2: youtube.com/watch?v=cFXntjYi… Bandcamp: dischordiaband.bandcamp.com Stores: linktr.ee/transcendingobscur… Info: US death metal juggernauts Dischordia force their way through the fabric of reality with their sheer might; to be vaguely specific, their inexorable march of dissonant, proggy, brutal, technical, death metal music. When music like that evolves to be even more focused, dense, and potent than before, it becomes virtually unassailable which is the case with "Nocturne". The avalanche of gargantuan, heaving riffs continues throughout the new album's comparatively shorter duration and is suspended, albeit momentarily, with instrumental parts played on a toy piano, flute, or something unconventional like that. These interludes only serve to provide respite from the relentless churning while adding depth and intrigue to their wall of sound-resembling music that seems to be constantly moving closer to crush the listener. Once again, Dischordia have come up with a formidable album with a lot going on, warranting close attention and repeat listens to fully appreciate the extraordinary songwriting and musicianship on display. Genre: Technical/brutal/dissonant/progressive death metal For fans of: Gorguts, Maere, Replicant, Saevus Finis, Chaos Motion Line up: Josh Turner: Bass, Vox, Percussion, Toy Piano, & Flute Dr. Keeno: Guitars & Vox Josh Fallin: Drums, Piano, Percussion, & Vox Artwork by Gianna Martucci-Fink

NEW RELEASE PREORDER: #ChaosMotion (Mex/Fra) - Self-titled (Experimental Technical/Dissonant Death Metal) Video stream #1: youtu.be/8Hv2PCpLtnM?si=JpFN… Video stream #2: youtu.be/uofmfvU2Zro?si=JPAF… Bandcamp: chaosmotionband.bandcamp.com Stores: linktr.ee/transcendingobscur… Info: Chaos Motion's new album comes after a gap of seven years from their debut album which stunned the world with its outrageous take on death metal. It was at once over-powering but enthralling all the same with its dizzying technicality, mind-bending structures, and absurd and unpredictable progressions. The self-titled new album upholds that spirit and sees the band polishing their sound and perfecting it. The music over here is aggressive, almost militaristic in both its discipline and approach; the members sound hungry and determined as if they have waited too long. And yet, the music has its spaced-out, hypnotic moments where after the constant working up of discordant, chaotic tunes, the listener finds solace and drifts suspended in the air, only for the process to be repeated with utmost precision. Even with the album being just over half an hour long, there is so much to process and understand that it's easy to lose track of time and grip on reality. This self-titled album is yet another compelling statement from Chaos Motion, who are altering the fabric of death metal in their own meticulous way. Genre: Technical/dissonant death metal For fans of: Wormed, Baring Teeth, Gorguts, Origin, Xenosis Lineup: Juan Pablo Muñoz - All instruments Erik Nuñez - All vocals Artwork by Midge "Mantissa" Sinnaeve (#Endspace)
