I am sharing a personal statement that my family and I have made in response to my brother’s announcement.

If today you find yourself on a side with people mocking a young man with special needs, who was so overcome with pride for his dad that he burst into tears, then I promise you, you're on the wrong side.
Hope you were able to catch SHAZAM #9 a couple of weeks ago. I’m so grateful to be coloring the beautiful art of @manulupac !
Hmm… FLASH and now SHAZAM… I must have a thing for guys in red with lightning FX 😆

Today we lost a legend. Ramona Fradon was an inspiration to generations of comics professionals including myself. I was incredibly lucky to know her not only as an artist but as a friend. These are just a few of my favorite pieces we did together showcasing her timeless talent:
Two weeks ago, we finished these Ramona Fradon covers for Women’s History Month. DC Comics Eddy Choi sent these last night to share. Inks by Sandra Hope, color by yours truly. RIP Ramona, it was an honor.
No matter how much I plan ahead, on deadline days I always end up eating a bag of croutons for dinner.
These were the days when we weren’t allowed unlimited special FX (grads, color holds etc.) Hand-colored guides, not digital.

If anyone is looking for the most thoughtful present, my Mum bought me a year in books for Christmas and it’s amazing ❤️📚 (even better, some were second hand from people who mean a lot to me)
On the train out of NYC today, I played peek-a-boo with the little boy in front of me. I told him I worked for Superman. His Dad's eyes lit up and he turned to his son. "Tell her what your name is!"
"Clark."
I gave the Dad my contact info. That kid is getting a pile of comics.
Coloring FLASH means modeling muscles correctly. So I created an “ABS” folder for reference.
IT’S MY JOB.
Heart in my throat over the news from Lewiston, Maine. My niece, a nurse, lives there and is heading to the hospital to help.
