i wish people understood that chronically ill people are often grieving their own limitations long before anyone else starts complaining about them. we’re already mourning everything we can’t do. we don’t need to be made to feel guilty for it too.

I actually do dispute it. Homeless people aren't the problem. The problem is the system that makes them homeless and ignores their suffering. Homeless people are just people that are lacking resources.

I don’t dispute that living in a city with a homelessness crisis is unpleasant, but the only solution to that is giving people places to live. All other "solutions" are just about trying to reduce the visibility of the problem by shoving them into the carceral system.
