During WW2, Royal Airforce (RAF) 🇬🇧 wanted a midway link for "frontier policing" over waziristan as they were deployed in the east to counter Japanese threat ...
Sargodha district was selected in 1942 to house 4 airfields with cement runways and dispersal area viz ;
Sargodha main (Mushaf)
Chota Sargodha (south west)
Wegowal (north west)
Bhagtanwala (north east)
They served the intended purpose of transit station but had bare minimum facilities hence, vacated after the war. after independence of 🇵🇰 RPAF re-activated Sargodha complex in July 1951 as "satellite" in order to counter growing threat of Adampur and Halwara AFS across the border.
Supermarine Attacker jets & hawker fury were a routine visitor during air-land joint exercise 'November handicap' of 1954 ... U.S 🇺🇲 defence assistance began in the same year as high powered USAF delegation visited Sargodha 🛫 & Sakesar hill station 📡 for selection under MDAP in order to counter threat of Soviet Union !
Wing Commander R.D Rollo was a colourful character and played an important role during large scale modernisation programme from 1956-59. Both runways were extended and re-carpeted with asphalt. 48 dispersal locations were built in tandem with ammunition depots, POL storage⛽️, apron area, barracks, officers quarters, hospital and recreational facilities.
Finally, in Nov 1959 group captain Salahuddin was appointed as first station commander of Sargodha and No. 5, No. 11, No. 16 squardons with F-86 sabre moved in from Karachi.
Sep 1961 saw another landmark event when F-104 starfighters of No. 9 sqn🐉 joined the club as first ever supersonic jet in the subcontinent, armed with aim 9 sidewinder and airborne intercept radar. Night landing facility and runway net barriers were added along with all weather modern navigation and RT equipment.
Fortress was eventually attacked on 7th sep 1965 by IAF Mysteres from adampur & Hunters from halwara in a wave attack during 33 sorties. Atleast 5 🇮🇳 jets were shotdown by overhead ADA fighters. Some damage occured to ATC tower & ammo dump but except 1 odd sabre on ORP, bustling base with 70+ jets on ground remained unscathed as high speed single pass with rocket pods jettisoned and no clear aiming by canons could not produce the desired results.
Most determined attack was made by sqn Ldr A.B Devya of No.1 squardon 'tigers' who was mortally wounded by gatling gun of starfighter, flown by sqn Ldr amjad hussain yet rammed his wounded bird 🐦 and perished. Both jets crashed in the vicinity as adversary bailed out. He was posthomously given Maha Vir Chakra🏅in 80s when PAF historian John fricker revealed details in his book.
Canbera bombers attacked repeatedly but due to good dispersal, workhorse base remained fully operational. There was a false alarm of paratroopers dropped by the IAF which kept the defenders busy in firing all night at emergency soldiers airlifted by C-130 on the runway but fortunately nobody died ! Hundreds of close air support missions were flown from chamb to sialkot and Lahore to kasur sector alike.
That is how, 1st combat debut of city of eagles 🦅 ended with a well deserved Hilal-e-Istaqlal (crescent of resilience) ...

Nah u good, i though you were a muslim punjabi nat kanging on sikhs , there are a few of them on here alot more then u think lol
Its crazy how popular this "pakistan saved the taliban " rethoric is when even a glance at last 5 years before the US withdrawal will prove otherwise, Pakistan was litreally erasing entire villages that had popular taliban support
Its just a massive cop-out for USA's faliure
Pakistan helped save the Taliban from the U.S. and partially facilitated the Doha Deal.
Now Pakistan, among some others, has saved the IRGC from the U.S. and played a central role in helping reach the surrender document.
We all know how saving the Taliban turned out for Pakistan. Now we'll see how saving the IRGC will turn out for Pakistan. Good luck, amigos.

Please, do not speak for us. We are one who didn't & did decide to do it. In Pak , we are the majority and also an integral part of the state structure, while in India, I applaud your preservation of language & culture but it is compelling due to being a marginalized minority.
Iran's overplaying their hand.
Just getting their assets unfrozen and sanctions lifted.. with their missile program intact.. will be a huge win for Iran.

Pakistanis have gone from actively resisting establishment to trying to understand why it works the way it works

“Oh, you’re from Sindh, where dacoits live,” he said, then made derogatory remarks about Sindhis, calling us uneducated, jahil, and low-class. He spent the entire class speaking in Punjabi, spreading hateful stereotypes about Sindh and Sindhis.

All of that yap just to have half the GDP of KPK
"Afghanistan trillion dollar minerals " having mimerals and being able to make its extraction profitable are very different things, afghanistan may have "trillion dollar minerals" but it will cost more to mine them
The Gul Khans are the most foolish people in the world:
This may sound emotional to you, but I will give my reasoning:
#Pakistan, including the Pashtuns, has about 240 million people now, and based on current growth it will reach 310 million in 25 years and exceed 450 million in 50 years. Pakistan’s current total area is 881,913 square kilometers, and Pakistan can never become a global technology hub like Japan or the West so that its economy would rely solely on technology and services to the world. Next to it is India, which has a much more educated workforce and attracts the world’s major investments, and Pakistan uses the little capacity it has for the stability and development of Punjab. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ISI created the TTP which has made the region insecure, and because of this insecurity all capital moves to Punjab; foreign investment is now only possible in Punjab. So the Pashtun population will soon reach around 150 million, and in that small and extremist province there will be neither bread nor jobs, and I myself will not have the capacity to absorb 150 million people. So your next generations will curse you Gul Khans for missing a great opportunity: if you had connected your geography with Afghanistan’s 652,867 square kilometers and shared in the trillions of dollars in Afghanistan’s minerals, Afghanistan would have stabilized you and become a hub of Asian connectivity. The world’s big companies would have invested in Afghanistan’s mines and Afghanistan would have become a major regional power; but you fools kept us here so that now we don’t even have bread at night!
Gul Khans!
We don’t have any particular affection for you either, but it’s because of you idiots that there is fire in Afghanistan; the Taliban also came from your home and the mujahideen also came from your home so that if you separated from Punjab then Punjab’s hand over Afghanistan would be cut off, and then there would be neither jihad in Afghanistan nor Punjab’s influence.
If your problem is the Taliban, then come and rise together against the Taliban and we will take Afghanistan together; and if you are waiting for me to build Afghanistan first and then you will come, then hear this clearly:
So far we have lost several governments over the Durand Line, but we have not yet agreed on the Durand Line; but if in the future you die of hunger and I am prosperous, then at that we will sign the Durand [Line] and sell it off — do you understand? Because if you don’t come now, later you will no longer be useful to our cause.
These are litreally pakistanis, tf are people talking abt it? the most interesting thing abt this conversation or any such conversation that ive had is that pashtuns(except for peshawar-wals) almost never talk abt TTP or the bad it did in their region
🚨Namak haram for a reason. Afghan students at Punjab University were seen spreading filth and making hateful propaganda against Pakistan in front of a foreign YouTuber despite enjoying the privileges of a fully funded scholarship.
If Pakistan is so bad in their view, perhaps we should consider returning them to Afghanistan instead of abusing the country that hosts and funds them.
Man indians have to deal with knock off mp5s, while pakistan is dealing with M16's with thermal scopes and US made grenade launchers 😭
I love how in every video abt pakistan coming from afghanistan there is always a "punjab" somewhere in it
Generational hatewatch 😭
Taliban Commander at Spin Boldak Warns: “Pakistan Will Be Torn to Pieces”
After last night’s clashes, a Taliban commander stood before the damaged gate at Spin Boldak and declared that Pakistan “will be torn to pieces,” adding that if it is not done by the current generation, “our children will do it.”

Humanitarian Relief Allowed Through Pak–Afghan Border
Pakistan has issued an important announcement regarding the movement of UN humanitarian cargo through Chaman and Torkham.
Only selected UN containers have been granted permission to deliver relief goods to Afghanistan on humanitarian grounds.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the movement of cargo from WFP, UNICEF, and UNFPA will take place in three phases:
1️⃣ Food supplies
2️⃣ Medicines & medical equipment
3️⃣ Other essential relief items, including educational kits
The government has directed UNRCO to immediately clear the initial batch of ATT containers:
67 containers – WFP
74 containers – UNICEF
02 containers – UNFPA
Pakistan says the remaining UN shipments will be processed once this first batch is cleared.
🇵🇰➡️🇦🇫 A measured, humanitarian step to ensure essential aid reaches the Afghan people.
