OFFICIAL NOTICE TO NYS MARKET
Before the end of this new week, we expect @NYSMarkets to clearly disclose the 2% Floating Loss Rule on its purchase page.
Traders deserve to know every risk and trading restriction before purchasing an account not after.
Failure to transparently disclose such an important rule will force Trust a Prop to publicly flag this firm as a SCAM ALERT and warn traders to exercise extreme caution.
Transparency is not optional. Traders deserve better.
We will not issue another warning.

A prop firm’s reputation isn’t built when everything is going smoothly.
It’s built when a trader requests a payout, disputes a breach or encounters a problem.
That’s when we see what the firm is really made of.
Agree or disagree?
Let’s settle this. 👇
What’s the ONE thing that makes you lose trust in a prop firm?
A. Delayed payouts
B. Hidden rules
C. Unfair account breaches
D. Poor customer support
E. Sudden rule changes
We want to hear from real traders.

Let’s settle this.
What’s the ONE prop firm rule you think should be removed from the industry?
Consistency rules?
Daily drawdown?
Floating loss?
News trading restrictions?
Minimum trading days?
Let’s hear from traders.
We want to know what the industry needs to change.

🚨 NYS MARKET, TRADERS DESERVE FULL TRANSPARENCY!
Looking at your $10K 2-Step CFD account, the front-end rule display clearly lists:
• 5% Max Daily Loss
• 10% Maximum Loss
• No Consistency Target
• Unlimited Trading Period
But where is the 2% Floating Loss rule?
Why isn’t such an important trading restriction clearly disclosed on the account purchase page?
Traders should not have to discover critical rules after purchasing an account.
Transparency starts before checkout, not after payment.
@NYSMarkets , can you clarify this?

THE PROP FIRM INDUSTRY NEEDS TRANSPARENCY.
Prop Firm Match has released a statement acknowledging an issue with how affiliate links were handled on its platform.
After three years of building a platform with over 370,000 members, PFM has accepted responsibility and says it is working with partners to reconcile possible inaccuracies.
But this raises an important question:
How much transparency should traders and prop firms expect from platforms that influence their decisions?
In an industry where trust is everything, accountability matters.
Let’s watch how this unfolds. 👀
Traders, we want to connect with the people behind the prop firms.
Drop your prop firm’s name and tag its CEO in the comments. We want to follow them, hear directly from them, and keep up with their updates.
Let’s get the prop trading community connected! 🤝
🚨 PROP FIRM INDUSTRY SHAKE-UP: PROP FIRM MATCH UNDER FIRE AS FIRMS BEGIN CUTTING TIES
The prop firm industry is facing another major controversy, and this time, the spotlight is on one of its popular comparison platforms: Prop Firm Match.
On October 29, 2026, a trader known as Kane raised concerns about the platform’s affiliate-link tracking system in a video shared on X.
The allegation is that when traders clicked certain firm profiles or used the copy-code button, they were redirected through affiliate links in the background without necessarily intending to visit the firm’s website through a referral link.
This has raised serious questions about transparency, referral attribution and trust within the prop trading ecosystem.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
Things escalated quickly.
Apex Trader Funding announced that it had terminated its affiliate relationship with Prop Firm Match, effective immediately, disabling all associated tracking codes.
The decision followed a review of referral tracking practices and compliance with its affiliate agreement.
Reports on October 30 also indicate that several other firms have moved to end their affiliate relationships with the platform.
These include:
Apex Trader Funding
Lucid Trading
Take Profit Trader
FundingPips
VEST
Goat Funded Trader
Alpha Capital Group
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR TRADERS?
This situation raises an important question:
How much trust should traders place in platforms that compare, rank and promote prop firms while also earning affiliate commissions?
Comparison platforms play an important role in helping traders make decisions. However, transparency must remain a priority.
If a trader visits a comparison website to research a firm, they should understand when affiliate tracking is being activated and how their clicks are being attributed.
WHAT ABOUT PROP FIRM MATCH?
Prop Firm Match has acknowledged the concerns and stated that it is investigating the matter. The platform promised to provide a fuller explanation within 24 hours.
At the time of writing, a comprehensive public explanation is still awaited.
It is important to remember that ending an affiliate partnership does not automatically mean a prop firm’s trading operations or payout obligations have changed.
MY TAKE
The prop firm industry needs more transparency, not less.
Traders already have enough challenges dealing with strict trading rules, payout conditions, consistency requirements and account restrictions.
The platforms helping traders choose where to spend their money must also be accountable.
This situation should remind every trader that popularity, rankings and discount codes are not enough when choosing a prop firm.
Do your own research. Read the rules. Verify the payout history. And never allow a comparison platform to make the final decision for you.
The biggest question now is:
Will Prop Firm Match provide a satisfactory explanation, or will more prop firms continue to walk away?
