“Every person is god” is a prime example of Hindu theology painted with a thin veneer of Christian-y vocabulary. This is “all is one” as clear as day. My boss, Peter Jones, calls this Oneism. All distinction between the Creator and creation is erased. In Romans 1:25, Paul’s charge against fallen humanity is that we have “exchanged the truth of God for the lie” and worship creation rather than the Creator. Dr. Jones has a license plate that reads “All is 2” — he says that all of reality is two. There is the Creator, and there is everything He created. They’re mutually exclusive and the line between the two remains bright, no matter what we do to attempt ignoring it. All men are God’s image bearers. God made them that way. They will never be God because they will never be uncreated, nor can they ever be.
It’s interesting that current movements aim at thwarting or escaping death. Man looks forward thinking immortality will make him like God. They never look back to understand that immortality is impossible because there was a time when they were not, but the Great I Am always was.

Animals act on their urges without moral accountability. Human beings aren't animals—we're created in the image of God.
Not every desire should be followed. Self-control is a virtue, and having an urge doesn't give us permission to act on it.
So when someone argues that a behavior must be acceptable because animals do it, remember: don't take your moral cues from animals.

Rosaria Butterfield, a former lesbian turned Christian apologist, shares an uncomfortable reality for Christians navigating transgenderism in their families:
You cannot love someone by lying to them.
Tell the truth. Refuse to celebrate what you believe is wrong. But don’t disappear because the relationship is difficult.
She also warns of the “gothic and dangerous” realities of transgender surgeries, calling the doctors who perform mastectomies on healthy female bodies “the butchers.”
Her message to families: Don’t retreat. Don’t disappear. They need you.
