Memory is not just vector search.
Retrieval can surface useful fragments.
But a usable past is more than top-k similarity.
If we’ve learned to give agents tools for acting, we should also give them tools for remembering:
search, inspect, trace, relate, verify.
Here is how:
In our view, memory files are nodes.
Relations between them are edges.
Write the node.
Relate the node.
Let recall travel through structure, not only through similarity.
The goal is not “clever” retrieval.
It is usable past.
