More updates in the Roddy Gayle Jr. vs. NCAA case: court records show the judge granted Gayle’s second motion today, the one covering the NCAA’s agent and Summer League rules.
The court hasn’t posted the written order yet, so the exact terms aren’t clear.

My understanding is that this means the protections from last week’s TRO, which cleared Gayle to play vs. Houston, will stay in place, so he remains eligible for the opener.
That could still change if the NCAA appeals and wins a stay, but for now he’s cleared.
