Not sure who BY9 is throwing to, but it ain't @Panthers receivers. #KeepPounding

Or is it Devin Lloyd?? #KeepPounding
Joe Person@josephpersonSep 20
Devin Lloyd picks off Jack Strand and returns it 16 yards for a TD. Sack, two INTs (incl. a pick-6), another PBU, eight tackles ... and NFC Defensive Player of the Week award incoming. It's 34-3.

Is Darren Waller the @Panthers best offseason pickup? #KeepPounding
Joe Person@josephpersonSep 20
Darren Waller has three catches. Two have gone for TDs. The Panthers lead 27-3. And a "Keep Pounding" chant has broken out at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

One of the first times I've seen BY9 lead a receiver on a deep ball. Not a moment too soon. @Panthers close the gap. #KeepPounding

I've got 4 tickets for the @Panthers game vs the Texans this Friday in Charlotte. I would like to get them to a family, especially if they've never been to a game. #KeepPounding – at Tampa, FL

That's Jonathon Brooks' first TD as a pro. And as he did at Texas, after he reached the end zone he tapped his right arm, where he has a tattoo honoring his late father. Story from 2024 (free link): nytimes.com/athletic/5493589…

Panthers rookie Jonathon Brooks brings memory of his father to next stop (Gift Article)

Brooks was a freshman at Texas when his father died at 49 after a blood clot traveled to his heart on March 28, 2022.

Ransom is a beast. Receivers are going to come to fear going over the middle against the Panthers. – at Gibsonton, FL

Latham Ransom just decleated Ja’seem Reed and he’s down on the ground. Trainers just lifted him up. It looked like a legal hit but massive smack. #Panthers
