I have been suspended from Cornell University alongside three others for my presence in our encampment. Cornell thinks that picking off four students will be sufficient to destroy our movement. They’re wrong — all they have done is enraged our community.

The Tompkins County DA says Cornell police NEVER PROVIDED the group chat screenshots in the Cornell 7 complaint. We knew Cornell let these students off easy, but it’s insane that Cornell actively suppressed evidence about the case to prevent criminal prosecution.
For those digging into Cornell’s fucked up disciplinary system for the first time, you should know that students approached @Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff in May demanding democratic reform to our Code of Conduct. Kotlikoff responded by hitting two students with his car.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell @jvplive) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same @Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

At Cornell, one person— Christina Liang — handles every disciplinary case, including the Cornell Seven’s and the suspensions of over 40 protestors. Liang wrote in 2025 that “2024 was one of the most challenging years of my career…and it helped me learn that caring less is okay.”

Hasan Piker is asked by Najeh, an event organizer at Cornell University, if he would be interested in interviewing Sudanese doctors on his broadcast and Hasan said yes. Najeh explained that he went on medical missions to Lebanon, Sudan, the Gaza flotilla and Ukraine, and that Sudan is not being talked about at all, despite the fact that some people have said that Sudan is in a worse state than Gaza with regard to the state of the hospital facilities. 🤍
Some Cornell activist history: just to Hasan’s left here in Sage Chapel is the stained-glass memorial for three Cornell student Freedom Riders who were killed in Missippi in 1964. A few yards away is Willard Straight Hall, where Black students staged an armed takeover in 1969.
