You never see "san, chan, tan, chan, sama, and even sensei" in subtitle work.
Its always replaced with Mr or Ms and you can tell its not what the characters are saying at all

An incident occurred in which Muhammad, a Pakistani national, took a teenage girl to a hotel, threatened her with a knife, forced her to take drugs, sexually assaulted her, and then stole her cash.
After his arrest, I saw what looked like a smirk on his face in front of the cameras, and I thought to myself:
Perhaps he knows how Japan’s system works. That he wouldn’t receive a particularly severe punishment for this crime.
This is exactly the kind of incident I feared most when it comes to immigration policy.
Don’t you think such a despicable crime deserves the death penalty?
