My sister is autistic and has ADHD. She never had that solid core group of girlfriends who stayed close from childhood all the way into adulthood. She had friends growing up, but her friendships have always been more individual, one-on-one rather than a tight lasting group. She’s wondering if this is common for other autistic and ADHD women.
