Found this leucistic Thekla's Lark a few weeks ago and it is still thriving today.
Leucism is a genetic condition that causes a partial loss of external pigmentation resulting in white or pale plumage.

There are plenty of (European) Bee-eaters steadily making their way south to Africa at the moment. They are streaming through Extremadura in SW Spain now.
Yesterday, I watched several immature birds (like this one) riding the mountainside updraughts in Marvão, Portugal.
I discovered a Palomar in the countryside in Zamora, Spain.

Went to Seville Airport yesterday and took a slight detour to twitch a Red-knobbed Coot that has been hanging around on the outskirts of the city of Badajoz.

There was even a mother/son duo that flew in from Oslo, Norway to attend!
Had some nice birds including plenty of Ruff (depicted).
