West Virginia seniors lose an estimated $19 million a year to fraud. That's money stolen from folk who have spent their lives working and saving. And it doesn't begin to account for the taxpayer dollars lost to fraud each year. Earlier this week, @USAtty_Capito brought together nearly 20 federal, state, and local law enforcement officials and prosecutors at the Cabell County Courthouse in Huntington to discuss how we can better coordinate our efforts to combat fraud across #WV. “We have a shared responsibility to protect West Virginians, safeguard taxpayer dollars, and hold those who commit fraud accountable,” Capito said.
