As @DHSgov and @ICEgov have already made clear, this guy was not a “Texas father.” He’s an illegal alien whose very existence on American soil violated federal law every second of every day for 25 years.
Don’t want to get caught up in the government’s fully legal third-country removal policy? Don’t be here in the first place. Easy.

A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

Here at @USAO_SDTX, we’ve been inundated with THOUSANDS of legally dubious habeas corpus petitions filed by the open-borders legal/nonprofit industry on behalf of illegal aliens. As part of that scheme, they hand-select certain judges to give the aliens exactly what they want: a get-out-of-jail-free card.
This appellate decision provides much-needed relief—for now. America-last zealots will still try to find devious ways to flout the law. But my Office and I will remain vigilant in restoring American sovereignty.
Why? Because “a nation ceases to be a nation if it can’t protect its borders.” (Judge Ho, concurring).
