If the last couple of months haven't put cybersecurity at the top of your priority list, the last two weeks definitely should have.
Since last week, I've been burning the candle at both ends, working on a practical integration and migration path for OpenNHP, not just for my company, but for anyone looking to adopt it without rebuilding their existing infrastructure.
The goal is simple: lower the barrier to adoption and give developers a running head start with a working proof of concept and a potential migration roadmap.
Today, I'm introducing auth-bridge, an OpenNHP plugin I've been developing.
The idea behind auth-bridge is to allow existing mobile/desktop applications to reuse their current user authentication as part of the secure knock process. OpenNHP can then bridge authorized requests to protected endpoints, keeping those endpoints hidden until access has been validated.
No need to refactor your entire authentication system or overhaul your existing infrastructure just to get started.
This is still a proof of concept, but the bigger goal is to make adopting OpenNHP a practical, incremental process rather than an all-or-nothing infrastructure change.
More to come as I continue building and testing.

Ouch.
WSJ: "Polymarket paused trading on its website Thursday after some users of the prediction-market’s platform said their accounts had been drained of funds. The source of the issue was a security flaw in DebugBear, a performance-monitoring vendor used on Polymarket’s website, according to a person familiar with the matter.... A wallet belonging to a suspected attacker appeared to show more than $2.5 million in funds drawn from Polymarket user accounts, according to a Wall Street Journal review of wallet activity. The money was transferred in more than 900 transactions... [Polymarket] assured that traders who lost money would be 'made whole.'"

The Ubuntu installer for OpenNHP will be updated shortly to support predefined architecture templates.
One of the first templates will enable rapid deployment of a mobile application backend with user credential authentication.
A companion React demo app will also be available as a boilerplate to help developers get started quickly.

FORTRESS is strategic deterrence in action, ensuring our defenses are hardened, proactive, and ready.
I created FORTRESS America because we can no longer rely on two oceans to protect us. That outdated assumption no longer reflects the threats we face.
President Trump and Secretary Hegseth understand this and have already paved the way with Golden Dome and a renewed focus on the Western Hemisphere, including Greenland and Panama. All of it reflects a fundamental shift in how we defend America.
War has evolved, the threats have evolved, and our defenses must evolve with them.
