im trying

not the first time i’ve seen people call me carti but in breakcore because of how rarely i drop music 😭 i’m really sorry, i just want every single one of my releases to feel special to everyone

random fact, when i was performing in Poland for the first time ever, i honestly didn’t expect my set to go so perfectly, because i only had a month to learn how to use my little dj controller that i bought specifically to practice on, i literally had no experience with djing before that, so i was really nervous about it but when i got in Poland and we had a rehearsal the night before the event, there was a huge dj setup that looked so complicated to me, when i first saw it i thought everything was going to go wrong, especially since i only had about an hour to practice on it neither during my practice at home nor during the rehearsal could i get everything exactly right, but somehow during the actual the actual performance everything went too perfectly for the first time lol i even had a prerecorded set ready just in case i got too scared or didn’t feel confident enough to perform live, but in the end i managed to do it because of all the support from my friends and all the energy i felt from the crowd, i just was so calm even though i was shaking af right before my turn, i wasn’t scared anymore i was completely focused on what i was doing and making sure everyone was having fun, it was the best day of my life i miss it also the moment when i was randomly playing subway surfers and when i revealed the plushie for the first time at the end of my set was completely improvised to distract myself from the stress, i hadn’t planned any of that at all lmao, same as we didn’t plan for the next artist to not show up to take over after my set, so there was just awkward silence for about 5 mins and i felt really embarrassed because of it uhhh
