South Africa winning the World Cup next year. Home conditions, great bowling line up and all rounders. Almost like India in 2011

Been building a hardware x AI device for personal usage, and for the first time yesterday - felt like an engineer. No vibe coding can make you feel that way. Ofcourse revenue feels better whatever the product

Great time to be a chef and babysitter in Bay Area.
Anthropic will make ~1,000 employees worth +$100m at $2 trillion market cap. There's ~11,000 Americans with $100m in investable assets. So something like 1 in 12 Americans with $100m (liquid) will be from Anthropic. If you add in Openai, maybe 1 in 7.

2 types of businesses with AI. Ones who had a good product limited by technology - then AI lifted them through the roof. Others who were on way down and ai accelerated the timeline.

Bad advice that is constantly preached to young people: “Follow your passion and make money doing what you love” even if that means being underpaid and struggling financially. Good advice: “Make money chasing an opportunity now and then spend your time doing what you love later.” More folks should spend the first 10 years of their career trying to achieve some financial stability before "chasing their passion" later on. Unless you are in the .001% that hits it big early in your career chasing a passion, you should be spending your 20s building skills, a network, and savings. You will be amazed at how much time you still have to pursue other opportunities later once you have built a base.

India is a K shaped economy. Always has been, and barring a forced cultural homogenisation, always will be. Only businesses that will do well are gonna be those that serve the top, and monetise the bottom. Everything in the middle - ngmi.

LinkedIn you better give me AI search capabilities or let my instinct agent do the fuzzy search I want. Move it

Real estate advice. Buy a property that a future NRI who has returned to India would want to buy. NRIs want to : 1. Stay in a gated complex isolated from India 2. Access size and luxury they couldn’t get abroad 3. Potentially keep parents around 4 bhk and 2bhk in premium society. Not outskirts, not 3bhk.

Imagine being the jee topper in 2023 and taking up computer science course which was modelled on a now defunct world, only to graduate in 2027 to know half your degree is now a prompt. Great time to be in high school though !

AI native Indiamart - starting with small MOQ suppliers. Worth trying.

Rent is better than buying a home is a conspiracy by rich people to buy more and more real estate themselves and then earn through rent from you by telling you that rent is better than buying. Don't fall for it, if you're in your 30s, having a decent job, buy one home to stay. Real estate will always be costly and unaffordable, if you wait, you'll keep waiting. The key is to take a mid to small size home, at 7.5% home loan interest rate, preferably ready to move.

Honestly I think people are shitting on Snabbit too much when Instahelp's numbers are the same. You know very well you won't do the dishes yourself tomorrow when the maid is on leave. You know you will pay 250-300 when it comes to that. And this is not like Ola where the supply can just go away. What do you expect a leading player in an underpenetrated competitive space to do?

I have a feeling that electrical / electronics is gonna be the most sought after field by IIT toppers this year. Just has to be given what we have seen in last 2 years

Having worked on Muse, I believe widespread agentic AI adoption is going to go slower than we think. The people who build it, and the investors who fund it are all on the upper end of conscientiousness and openness to new experience. It's a problem that we often project this on to the general population, but most people are people of habit and aren't really readily open to trying new things. I remember even as early as 10 years ago, we'd still jokingly pass around lmgtfy.com/ bc the habit of Googling something wasn't quite ubiquitous yet. I think that AI, like many other things in consumer, will fall into generation gaps. It may be another 10-20 years before we see wide spread consumer AI adoption as gen A and gen beta come into age. Don't get me wrong, I still think there is hundreds of billions to be made in agentic AI, but it's not going to be the form factor we're seeing. At the end of the day, people really just care about things that impact them directly, and impact them positively without them having to expend any effort on their end. Agentic AI is going to have dramatic impact on healthcare, housing and labor long before the end consumer is going to care about agentic AI.

Your first business isn't about becoming mega successful. It isn't about changing the world. You should take "scale" out of your vocabulary. Start small and make your first business about building up your operational skills, capital, and network. Start a low-risk company. One where you can study companies that do exactly what you want to do. One where you don't need 1000 customers to win. You just need a small piece of the pie. One where you can make low-stakes decisions and practice. One where you can make mistakes and survive. One where you can improve your skills and build up your ability, bank account, and network for bigger opportunities later on. Then once you have these three things, the world is your oyster for whatever you want to do or build next.

Just set my lunch orders on autopilot today with Instinct on Swiggy. Same restaurant and a combo of dishes daily. Hopefully Swiggy will understand it's net beneficial for them and won' block me

Bangalore needs better personal trainers so that people can looksmax effectively. The average trainer looks like a dude who couldn’t get a job but went to gym in college. Surely we can do better esp as GenZ travels and becomes more conscious of the aesthetic gap globally.
