HW3 Tesla FSD Update – 29 October 2026 🇦🇺
FSD V14.3 Lite continues rolling out to HW3 vehicles in North America, while Australia’s latest V14.3.12 rollout remains restricted to HW4 vehicles.
For Australian HW3 owners, particularly those who purchased FSD years ago, the situation remains frustratingly unchanged:
• No confirmed Australian HW3 FSD release date.
• No commitment to free HW4 hardware retrofits.
• No extension of FSD licence-transfer eligibility.
• No announced refund or compensation arrangement.
• No confirmed Australian regulatory remedy for early FSD purchasers.
Tesla continues demonstrating FSD’s capabilities and promoting its safety benefits in Australia, yet customers who purchased the technology years before HW4 existed remain unable to access it.
As a 2021 Model 3 HW3 owner who paid upfront for FSD, I find it increasingly difficult to reconcile Tesla’s technological progress with its obligations to early customers.
Five years later, we’re still waiting for the functionality we purchased, with no definitive roadmap or resolution.
The question isn’t simply whether HW3 can eventually run a reduced version of FSD. It’s whether Tesla will honour its original commitments to customers who helped fund its development.

Hey @JetstarAirways, explain this one. I can book a passenger and enter their name without providing any ID. Make a typo in their first name and suddenly I need ID to correct it.
It’s like handing you a form and a pencil, then demanding identification before they’ll give you an eraser. 🤦♂️

More of "The White Washing". It is literally written on the wall...

FFS, stop whingeing throwing empty beer cans at Canberra demanding another fuel excise cut.
Politicians need to grow some balls and take on corporations gouging us at the bowser.
PAY THE EXCISE IN FULL. Fossil fuels create costs: fuel security, spill clean-ups, contaminated sites, HAZMAT response, pollution monitoring and health impacts from exhaust emissions.
Scrutinise refinery margins and corporate profits instead.
And when you can, transition to an EV or hybrid and reduce your exposure to the bowser altogether.
Otherwise STFU!

#insiders we’re being gouged and LNP must be in on it.

FFS, why aren’t we talking about refinery margins and corporate profits at the bowser? ⛽️
Let’s ask @grok: how much have Australia’s refineries made this year compared with last year as a result of the Iran war?
And if fuel excise is truly a fuel tax, PAY IT IN FULL to cover the costs directly associated with fossil fuels, including fuel security, spill clean-ups, contaminated sites, HAZMAT responses, pollution monitoring and the health impacts of exhaust emissions.

FFS, I use AI to gather data from external sites too.
Whatever OpenAI did, Services Australia is responsible for securing Medicare systems. That means access controls, authentication, data separation, patching and monitoring.
Blaming someone for trying the door, even if they knew where the key was hidden, doesn’t excuse leaving our data unsecured.
Services Australia must answer for that.

Australia is one country, yet losing a carrier’s signal can still leave you disconnected while another network is right there. Domestic roaming changes that. The challenge now is getting the rules, pricing and investment incentives right for AU.
Hey @Apple @AppleSupport — why does #iOS27 Photos now default to CROP every time I tap Edit?
Before iOS 27 it opened on Adjust, which makes far more sense for everyday photo editing.
Please restore Adjust as the default — or better still, let us CHOOSE the default editing tool.

Australia can’t progress without migration.
And migration can’t replace investment in Australians.
That means training locally through TAFE, apprenticeships & universities; recruiting globally where genuine skills gaps remain; and matching population growth with housing, hospitals, schools & infrastructure.
It’s not “more or less migration”. It’s better-planned migration. 🇦🇺

Remember when a major selling point of Apple silicon Macs was that they could run iPhone and iPad apps natively?
My M-series Mac CAN run only a very few iOS apps. Now at launch, Apple won’t allow its own Apple Sports app to run on it.
The hardware can do it. The platform can do it. Apple simply chooses not to.
Why, @Apple @AppleSupport @gregjoz?
