Iβm a Texan. Lived in Houston majority of my life, and Iβm telling you right now..thereβs no way this is possible. I can understand a handful of districts swinging, but every single district? For Talarico? Someone who disappeared from the campaign trail for two weeks? Theyβre making this obvious on purpose. Buckle up.

Guys, we need to have an honest conversation about DEI. And some fellow conservatives arenβt going to like this.
My son attends @ERAU_Daytona, arguably the top flight school in the world. He earned a 4.0 GPA last semester and just scored a 97 on his commercial pilot exam.
Heβs 6β3β, confident, and has sailed with me through ocean storms so violent I probably should have been arrested for bringing him aboard. Weβve hiked deep into the wilderness for days with nothing but backpacks.
I donβt say this to brag. I say it because the kid is a rock star.
Heβs exactly the kind of young man youβd want to see at the end of the jetway.
Now letβs talk about the tragic Learjet crash that killed nine people.
The captain was Jeff Gregory, 55, a white man with decades of experience and the gray hair and seasoned appearance that inspire confidence.
His copilot was Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, a 20-year-old woman.
And immediately people started screaming DEI.
That makes my blood boil.
Iβm DEAD set against DEI quotas. I believe cockpit seats should be earned through competence, judgment, and merit. Not race or gender.
But if you look at a female pilot and automatically assume sheβs a DEI hire, YOU ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT YOU CLAIM TO OPPOSE.
Consider this:
My son is 20. She was 20.
My son has hundreds of flight hours. She reportedly had over 1,300.
My son is working on his commercial certificate. She earned hers as a teenager.
My son flies single-engine piston aircraft. She was flying a JET the military uses.
Put it in baseball terms: My son is the college phenom with every Major League scout in the stands, watching his every move and predicting a brilliant future.
But she? At the same age, she was already batting cleanup for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the New York Yankeesβ Triple-A team.
A the same age, she was operating at an entirely different level of professional aviation.
Was she a great pilot? YES. You donβt move up that fast if you suck. The testing is just too hard.
Bringing DEI into this is just wrong.
YES there are DEI pilots.
YES some airlines have pushed mediocre women too fast and too far.
But Nathalia wasnβt one of them.
Iβve discussed this extensively with @JavonPrice. Iβm a proud dues-paying member of the Organization of Black Maritime Graduates.
What I love about them is they donβt give a damn about your skin color when it comes to joining or getting a scholarship. They want outstanding mariners.
Yet whenever I promote an exceptional Black graduate, someone inevitably says:
βWe donβt need another DEI hire.β
Or, βDonβt tell me to hire him because heβs Black.β
IβM NOT.
Iβm telling you to hire him because heβs a damn good mariner.
Hereβs what conservatives need to understand:
You cannot demand a meritocracy while refusing to recognize merit because liberals have rigged the game.
You cannot condemn identity politics and then judge someone by their identity.
You have to be color blind but also make absolutely certain you give everyone a fair assessment and donβt swing the other way.
And if your first thought when you see a woman or minority is βDEI hire,β that does NOT make you racist. DEI has created legitimate concerns about merit. But it DOES mean you have a bias and itβs YOUR responsibility to recognize it, challenge it, and judge the individual on merit.
Do not compensate by giving the person extra points on their job interview but π― DO spend a little more time digging into their resume to see if they are a rockstar.
As a ship captain, I donβt care whether the officer standing watch beside me is Black, white, male, or female.
I care whether they can do the damn job.
ONE STANDARD. FOR EVERYONE.
Nine people died in that crash. Their families deserve answers, not political accusations.
The ocean doesnβt care who you are.
Gravity doesnβt care who you voted for.
If weβre going to fight for meritocracy, weβd damn well better defend merit wherever we find it.
Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor womanβs final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraftβs maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

I've got a reckless vanity stunt for you, Tammy.
How about flying your Blackhawk where you were told not to fly because you wanted to feel like you were part of the war, maybe get a medal? But instead you took an RPG to the face because you were never really good at your job?
Donald Trump's dangerously low Halloween flyover was a reckless vanity stunt.
He terrified local residents, disrupted flights and risked aviation safety to parade around his new Qatar-gifted toyβwasting taxpayer dollars, even as prices keep soaring.
I'm demanding answers.

It's called "winter", dude. It isn't passed by law and it can't be changed by law. Nature can only be dealt with, not controlled, and Nature says days are going to be shorter. They will be shorter no matter what time of day you declare it to be. Change your schedule and suck it up. You don't need everyone else to pretend it's this or that specific hour to allow you to regulate your own life.

Tevez is on every timeline this morning, sitting with Rio Ferdinand, finally saying out loud why he left United for City. Revenge, he calls it. Broken promises.
Funny. Because the Tevez we got in Turin wasn't a man chasing revenge. He was a man who looked like he'd finally found a place that wanted him exactly as he was.
Summer 2013. He arrives from City with baggage. The golf-course strike. The months in Argentina. The "attitude problem" label stapled to his forehead by every English pundit with a microphone. And Juve hand him the number 10. Del Piero's number. The shirt that had been sitting empty, waiting for someone to deserve it.
Half the Curva thought it was madness. A mercenary in the most sacred shirt we had.
Then he played.
Not the way a number 10 is supposed to play, either. He played like a man who'd been told he wasn't wanted one too many times and decided to make that everyone else's problem. Pressing centre-backs for fun. Tracking back to his own corner flag. Arguing with referees, teammates, the grass. Scoring the kind of goals where he beats three men because passing would have been too polite.
Two Scudetti. A Coppa Italia. And then that spring of 2015.
Real Madrid in the semi-final. Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, the whole galΓ‘ctico circus. Juventus Stadium shaking. Tevez picks up the ball, drives at the box, Carvajal brings him down. Penalty. And there's no doubt about who takes it. He doesn't place it. He hammers it. 2-1. A month later we're in Berlin, in a Champions League final most people told us we'd never sniff again.
We lost that final. You know that. But nobody walked out of that season thinking Juventus were finished. That team believed it belonged on that stage, and a lot of that belief had his face on it.
Then he went home. Boca. Just like he always said he would. No drama, no revenge, no broken promise. He told us the truth the whole time.
And here's the bit I keep coming back to after Genoa. Two-nil down, eighth in the table, the manager apologising to the fans. Plenty of talent on that pitch. What it didn't have was a short Argentine who took losing personally and made sure the other team felt it too.
You can't buy that in a market. You can't put it on a spreadsheet. Some players carry the shirt. Tevez wore the 10 like it owed him something, then spent two years paying it back with interest.
United made him promises and broke them. Juventus gave him a shirt and he kept every one.
Fino alla fine. Even when the 10 wasn't supposed to fit.

No Kings explained for people who think they're fighting fascism.
You're standing in a crowd on Saturday. You look around and think yeah. No Kings. This is what democracy looks like.
Bro.
You're holding a sign made by a communist billionaire who lives in Shanghai.
You live in a constitutional republic.
Elections. Term limits. A free press that spent four years calling the president a fascist without one journalist being arrested.
The modern left's definition of fascism:
You love your country? Fascist.
You want to enforce the border? Racist.
You think parents should raise their kids? Bigot.
You want to know who's voting in your elections? Jim Crow.
Being patriotic is fascism to the modern left.
But every country has borders and enforces them. 176 countries require ID to vote. That's the definition of a country.
But the Democratic establishment told you otherwise. And you believed them.
Congress has a 15% approval rating. 80% of Americans disapprove. 97% of incumbents got re-elected.
Chuck Schumer. 46 years. Longer than Stalin.
Steny Hoyer. 45 years. Longer than Mao.
Mitch McConnell. 42 years. 5x more than Napoleon.
Nancy Pelosi. 39 years. Longer than Henry VIII.
Maxine Waters. 35 years. Longer than Mussolini.
Bernie Sanders. 35 years. Triple Hitler's entire reign.
Trump. 5 years and 3 months. Won the popular vote and the electoral vote.
But Trump is the king. Okay buddy.
You don't hate kings. You hate kings that aren't yours.
And they have you in the streets carrying their water.
The Democratic Party installed a president without letting you vote. Biden quit on a Sunday. By Tuesday your queen was crowned.
No primary. No debate. No ballot. First time since 1968.
Three days before your march every Senate Democrat voted against photo ID to vote.
During COVID you carried a vaccine card everywhere like a hall pass from the government just to eat at a restaurant.
But getting a birth certificate or waiting two hours at the DMV to prove you're a citizen before you vote? That's oppression.
The Democratic Party is pro illegal immigration.
Counts non-citizens in the Census. Census determines congressional seats. More non-citizens means more seats means more power. No voter ID means no way to check.
That's how you keep power without wearing a crown.
Biden built a censorship machine.
Pressured Facebook to suppress true information and admitted it in writing. Censored scientists. Censored doctors. Censored JOKES. The Biden White House told Facebook to remove "humor and satire."
They literally went after people for making fun of them. UK does it better tho...
Everything they censored turned out to be right. They just outsourced the silencing to Silicon Valley.
And it doesn't stop at speech.
The extreme left justifies taking children from families.
Six thousand schools rewrite children's identities without telling parents. And the State has the right to intervene.
The Hitler Youth did this. Mao's Red Guards did this. The Soviets built statues of a child who reported his own father.
Same playbook.
During Covid, your bakery got shut down. Church closed. You couldn't hold your dying mother's hand at the hospital.
But thousands packed together during BLM to burn Minneapolis and THAT was essential civic engagement. Obviously.
$2 billion in damage. 25 dead. 2,000 cops injured. 20 states burning. VP Kamala promoted a bail fund for the rioters. No investigation. No hearings.
January 6. One building. Few hours. 1,000 prosecuted. Two years of televised hearings.
Kings decide which violence counts. The left decided.
Charlie Kirk spent his life walking onto campuses asking for honest debate. He was assassinated.
CSIS terrorism database. 2025 is the first year in 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber right-wing. Yet no one brings this up.
75% of liberal students say preventing a speaker from talking is justified. 27% say violence is acceptable.
Liberals who went to Trump rallies: "I never felt unsafe." "The experience changed me." They say.
Conservatives who show up on liberal campuses get screamed at, blocked, and assassinated.
One side talks. The other side screams.
The Party for Socialism and Liberation marched
Their stated purpose in their own words: "Revolution." Not reform. But Marxism.
500 groups. $3 billion in revenue. Pre-printed signs.
The signs were ready before you were even angry.
AND its all coming again .... if the left gain any power.
VOTE RED RED RED on November 3rd

Irish Army cannot become a tool of Israel?
Buddy, the Irish Army is about 7,800 people with no tanks, no combat aircraft, and a budget that wouldnβt buy the fuel for a week of Merkava operations. You could fit the entire active force into the parking lot of one Israeli base and still have room for the canteen.
Israel isnβt trying to use your army. Your army couldnβt be used for a toothpick. The only thing it might destroy is the idea that Ireland has a serious military.
Replying to @Aontacht_Media @TadhgHickey
Irish Army cannot become a tool of Israel.
It canβt be allowed to happen.
It would destroy Ireland.
