[Vertex 101]
Solana is fast.
But getting real data from the chain? It’s slow, painful, and expensive.
That’s why we built Vertex — a no-infra indexing layer for Solana. Here is the tutorial👇
Ship it 🚀 !!!!!!
🧵Just finished integrating @magicblock into @vertex__sol billing flow—and it completely changed how we handle usage-based payments.
Instead of writing complex backend logic for metering & billing, we now let the chain do the heavy lifting.
Here’s how it works 👇

6/ Lazorkit is not the only seed sprouting from @SuperteamVN H1 2025. There are many others like @Gaian_hq @fystack @windnetwork_ @vertex__sol etc
Watch out @solana, those guys are rocking your world.
🚀 Quick Vertex update:
We've upgraded our parser to support IDL ≥ 0.30.1!
Now fully compatible with the latest Anchor programs.
We also index data for program LetMeBuy letmebuy.app/ to demo to @SolPlay_jonas.
Index every thing with Vertex💻

4 projects from SuperteamVN submitted to @colosseum Breakout you definitely need to check out:
1. @zero_lync – Cross-chain wallet infrastructure solution.
2. @lpagent_io – AI DeFi agent for automated liquidity management and optimized profit strategies.
3. @vertex__sol – Next-gen indexing framework that makes indexing on-chain Solana data faster, cheaper, and smarter.
4. @acclazor – Smart wallet infrastructure with Face ID and biometrics. No seed phrases, no browser extensions—just seamless, secure access.
🔥 Our team is testing our billing system with an on-chain mechanism!
We’ve rolled out the first component: change Login GG to connect by wallet for seamless, secure fund management.
Tracking and depositing funds to index/read data are in testing—updates soon. Stay tuned! 💪
Just submitted Vertex to the Solana Breakpoint Hackathon.
Serverless indexing for Solana
No infra. Just clean, queryable onchain data.
Watch the pitch 👇
More DEX Trades → More Data: The high trading volumes on @solana DEXs (e.g., $2.2 billion on @RaydiumProtocol in 24 hours) generate massive datasets.
➡️You know where to handle. Vertex is supporting indexing data in minutes while enable indexer creators earn!
Try out now👇
Time to speed things up and go full throttle.🚀
Good luck to the 9,000+ builders bringing their crypto products to life during the final week of the @Solana Breakout Hackathon.
Each hackathon submission accelerates the growth of the ecosystem and moves crypto a step closer towards global adoption.
🎯 Dev Update from Vertex
We’re working on on-chain fee handling!
🔹 Users will pay a fee when creating indexers on-chain
🔹 Reading indexed data? Also onchain 💡
Efficient. Transparent. Web3-native.
We’re pushing indexing infra forward ⚙️🛠️

I would be surprised if the Breakout Hackathon surpasses the total submissions of Radar. We’re due for a plateau before a step function increase, but we’ll see in 12 days!
Finish strong 🦾
We Shipped. We Scaled.
From Devnet to Mainnet — Vertex is leveling up.
Here's the week 3 recap from our founder @minhbear_sol 👇
📢 Vertex Update — DeFi Sample Indexer is LIVE!
Solana DeFi builders — we got you.
Vertex now supports sample data for Raydium CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker)!
🧪 What this means:
You can now view and index real Raydium CLMM on-chain data — price, token swap and moree
Indexing @RaydiumProtocol (USDC-SOL) is more than a milestone — it's a blueprint for making @solana
DeFi smarter.
✅ Real-time data
📷 No infra cost for teams
📷 Shared data layer for builders
Let’s make @solana data a public good.🫡
🔥 Just finished indexing Raydium CLMM pool data (USDC-SOL — highest volume)!
If you're building on Solana and need real stats for rebalancing, strategy simulation, or optimization — you need this.
No more relying on @vertex__sol alone.
Real CLMM numbers are now live.
Let's build smarter.

Reading data on @solana is messy:
RPC = Cant handle range queries
Custom indexers = expensive & fragile
External APIs = "trust me bro" risk
@vertex__sol fixes this: build your own lightweight indexers, own your data, no heavy infra, no trust assumptions. Early, but game-changing.
The read-layer for on-chain data is a design pattern black hole, and I've not found the ideal solution. Let's explore what's been tried and why it sucks, in the hopes that someone has a better idea:
Easiest: Raw-RPC
Design your program so that it's easy for a UI to read directly using the RPC. Design PDAs such that the needed mappings and query-patterns can be serviced. You can get pretty clever with PDAs. RPC is fast and has built-in websockets, so you can make the UI decently reactive.
Cons:
* This is optimized well for point-queries, and can even do range queries if you put an int in the PDA key. Sucks horribly for anything remotely like SELECT thing WHERE predicate.
* You end up with heaps of batched getMultipleAccounts calls
* It's not clear to external users how to use this API. You can wrap it in react-hooks, etc. But there's still a burden to understand PDA relations.
* Doesn't scale well as your queries and company get more complex
Harder: Index everything.
Index all of your programs into a database. Run an API on top of it
Cons:
* Indexing on Solana is absolute garbage. You're going to miss data and spend ages debugging what went missing and when.
* "Trust me bro" level crypto experience. If you centralized API goes down, sure people can form txs. Too bad they have no way of getting the data they need to form said transactions!
* Expensive
* UI must deal with race conditions on waiting for indexers to update
* Harder to make UI reactive to changes.
Hard (for someone else): Indexing service
Someone else (like an RPC, or better yet something fully decentralized) runs an indexing service and exposes an API for you. This (hopefully) eliminates the "trust me bro" centralized read-layer.
Cons:
* All of the cons from indexing yourself, except now it's someone else's problem and you're bugging them in telegram when you notice you're missing data.
* Expensive
* Lacks the ability to create tailored complex indexes/query patterns. For example, give me the top governance voters by voting power including assigned proxy votes.
Sorry for the long write-up. Has anyone found a better way, or found one of these to work better?
