The @Telegraph reports that civil servants told ex EdSec @bphillipsonMP that the impact of @UKLabour's spiteful tax on children was "not transformative" and that the exodus of children was "modest" according to an FOI request. The data doesn't back this, and it's time to end this tax.

There is nothing modest about the impact on all those cleaners, caterers, admin staff, site teams, & teachers who lost their jobs due to Labour’s education tax.
There is nothing modest about the disruption & destruction that so many children have faced for no good reason.
The Government promised this tax would fund 6,500 extra teachers. Currently, there are 2,000< fewer teachers than there were in 2024.

The BBC ran this report about a school closing mid-way through the year, leaving 600 kids in the lurch, without mentioning Labour's imposition of VAT on school fees. The only taxes imposed on education in Europe. More than a hundred private schools have now closed their doors.
