Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026). arkolith.com/news/news-micr… therepublic.com/?p=843020 governor.ny.gov/news/safer-str…

I’m not a DMV native, but a 2-hour commute just to film a cast dinner is wild. Tia and her husband driving from Arlington, VA to Columbia, MD really highlights why #RHOP needs to cast women who actually live closer to each other

I never understood how Katy Perry became the punchline. She may be past her commercial peak, but at least she has a modicum of vocal talent, which is more than I can say after watching this.

I need four films released at the same time about Leigh-Anne, Perrie, Jade (and Jesy)
Variety (@Variety) profile pictureVariety
@VarietyOct 12
The Beatles biopics producer explains the idea behind releasing all four movies at once in 2028: "We want people to be able to experience them in the cinema during the same period. Now that doesn't necessarily mean we're thinking that people will go and see all four films on the same day, but you know within the same month you might see one a week, or you might see one one weekend to the next, one the next. However you you see it, I think our hope is that people will see all four films. You know they they stand alone as individual stories of each of those four men, but they they have a cumulative power, which I think is is greater than the sum of the parts. You know, the Beatles are simply the I think the greatest band in in history, and you know we're trying trying to do our best to do them justice, so hence the four films. I don't think there's probably another band that you could legitimately say you wanted to see four films for." variety.com/2026/more/news/t…
