We’re now able to track voice products on Amplitude. One of the misconceptions about Amplitude is that we are tied to a particular interface. Amplitude is a bet on the interactions between humans and technology going up over time.
More than half of global companies already have voice agents answering their phones. The hard part isn't answering. It's knowing which calls cost you a customer. Two callers ask the same question. One gets an answer in 0.6s. The other sits through 4.4s of silence, says "okay, forget it," and hangs up. He cancels his order 3 minutes later. The call log says both went fine. Agent Analytics now does voice. Every call becomes Amplitude events on the same user ID as the rest of your product, so you can: - See the problem. Open any call and find the slow tool behind the silence. - Score it. Built-in signals and your own evals run on every call. - Tie it to the business. Put the wait next to the cancel, the churn, the repeat order. - Ship the fix, and see if it worked for your callers. Stop shipping on vibes.

Own stack on OpenAI Realtime, Nova Sonic, LiveKit or Pipecat: Python or Node SDK. On Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs or Bland: import finished calls. Hand the guide to your coding agent. It starts with a dry run. amplitude.com/docs/amplitude…

Each call is a session. Each turn carries the transcript, plus how long the caller waited to hear the agent, whether anyone cut in, and how the turn ended. Never the audio itself. amplitude.com/docs/amplitude…

Q3 Amplitude results: - $431M ARR, up 24% year-over-year and $21M from Q2 - Non-GAAP operating income of $5.7M - 855 customers paying over $100k in ARR, up 31% year-over-year - Customers using multiple Amplitude products now account for 81% of ARR AI is making it possible to build more software than ever. Knowing what to build and whether it's working is becoming the hard part. We've spent the last 14 years building the context to answer those questions. Now we can put it to work helping agents build better products. Excited for what's ahead! Full results: amplitude.com/press/third-qu…

Fine-tuning on raw prod traces teaches the model your agent's failure modes too. Prod logs are full of sessions where the agent looped on a tool call, the user rephrased the same question three times, or gave up halfway. Train on all of it and the model learns those habits. How we handle this in @Amplitude_HQ Agent Analytics, for agents running on @FireworksAI_HQ: - Each response keeps its Fireworks request ID, so a label maps back to the exact inference - Built-in signals score every session (task completion, friction, negative feedback), each with a written rationale - Your own evaluators (LLM, code or decision models) run on top, calibrated against sessions you've reviewed - Export passing sessions for SFT, or pass and fail sessions, labeled, for DPO / reward models - A/B the tuned model against prod by experiment arm: quality, cost and latency side by side You choose the training set and run the export yourself, so your data goes only where you send it. The result: a tuned model you can check against prod on your own traffic before you switch. How are you choosing training data from prod today?
The future of AI is specialized intelligence with models tuned to your data, your domain and your customers. Today, we're proud to launch live from Forge the Fireworks Frontier Ecosystem with 60+ partners across the AI stack, helping you build and ship faster. Check it out: fireworks.ai/partners

Next week we're showing how to build self improving products. We've been running an automated self improvement engine on our website and product that comes up with opportunities based on analytics, session replay, and customer feedback data. We want teach other builders how to do this themselves! We're hosting @petergyang, Tony Deng from OpenAI, and our own @Jacob__Newman at Amplitude HQ on Wednesday, November 4. They'll demo what they're building with Codex and Amplitude, their workflows, and where humans still need to intervene. If you're building products with AI, come see it in action and bring your questions. Wednesday, November 4, 5:30-8:30pm PT. In person in San Francisco at the Amplitude office. Agent Analytics meets you where you are. Where your agent runs: - Python or Node: wrap the client with the SDK. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Mistral. - Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, Vercel AI SDK, Mastra, Pydantic AI, AWS Strands, Google ADK, Microsoft Agent Framework. - Already on OpenTelemetry: add Amplitude as a second exporter. OpenLIT, Traceloop, Bedrock AgentCore, and OpenInference (Agno, smolagents, DSPy, Haystack, AutoGen) work as they are. - Gateways and local models: LiteLLM, OpenRouter, Ollama. - Anything else (browser, edge, Java, Go, Ruby, Cursor Agent SDK): post [Agent] events to the HTTP API. Where your traces live: - LangSmith, Langfuse, Braintrust: a small job forwards settled threads. - Sierra, Decagon, Fin, Agentforce: same pattern, pull or push. - Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, including MLflow traces: Amplitude imports them with your SQL on your schedule. Agent Analytics turns agent traces and evals into product events, so you can tie agent quality to conversion, retention, and revenue. The recommended setup is one prompt to your coding agent. It does the wiring and stops to ask what it can't infer, like which field holds your user ID. Don't see your stack? Reply with what you run.

Congrats to @cursor_ai on shipping the Agent SDK! Agent Analytics now has an integration for it. Cursor's evals run your agent on fixed test cases before you ship. Agent Analytics shows what happened with real users once you ship an agent built on it. A small hook sends every live session to Amplitude. Each one gets scored out of the box for task completion, helpfulness, and friction, and grouped into topics so you can see what people ask and where the agent falls short. You can also add your own evaluators on live traffic. And it all sits on the same user you already have in Amplitude, so you can tie agent quality to conversion, retention, and revenue. Setup is one prompt to your coding agent: amplitude.com/docs/amplitude…
The Agent SDK is now available. Define agents as code, with prompts in Markdown and tools in TypeScript. Deploy them on our hosted infrastructure, or run them on your own. Built-in evals let you measure every change and make your agents better over time.

Ultramarine performed strongly on our internal agent evals, with correctness close to GLM 5.3 Flash at ~1/10 the cost of Opus and ~1/60 that of Astra in the runs we compared. In our review, its answers were better organized, more explanatory and more engaging than GLM's. I'm very excited for Paper Instruments, we're looking forward to working more with their models!
Replying to @spenserskates
