i just really struggle to take your cause
seriously when you, as a vocal supporter of fbeaudry/cizeron, have yet to comment on the rampant, systemic sexual violence towards women in the sport. if you claim to care about women's sport, start there.
It's never been easier for male skaters to present themselves however they want, to wear the costume they want, to wear the makeup they want, to skate to whatever music they want, or to present the theme they want to present on the ice.
Men and boys don't need to compete in the women's category to do any of those things. It can all be done in the category that matches their actual sex: the men's category.
Yet influential forces in the sport (including @SkateCanada among many others) still want to force young women to endure the humiliation ritual of competing against males in the women's category and to force young women to share their private, intimate spaces with males.
Or they want to entice young boys to take dangerous cross-sex drug cocktails or to undergo elective medical procedures and life-long medicalization with devastating and irreversible effects.
NO THANK YOU!!
The Women's sporting category is a sex-based category. Being a woman means existing in a *female* body designed to produce the large gamete, and dealing with *all* the consequences and circumstances that go along with that *embodied* experience -- of which there are many.
No male can ever experience those things because he does not exist in a female body. Being a so-called "trans woman" is a 100% *male* experience. When a man acquires drugs and surgeries to mimic the appearance of a female body, that is a 100% *male* experience.
Males belong in the men's sporting category, not the women's, regardless of the stories they tell themselves in their heads about their own identity.
Men & boys: do your thing! But do it where you belong: in the men's category. And do not invade women's private safe spaces.
every year i am like "i did terrible" and every year the placements make me out to be a liar

Thinking of all the information I could have in my brain if I wasn’t keeping all the lyrics to La Vie Boehme stored away up there.

literally don't think i've shared anything even remotely personal on here since i was like 19 bc no one needs to know allat. in short i am a loser and this shit depressing as fuck. ngl the fact that i am still alive rn is wank. i don't wanna do this shit LOL.
re; skcan men
if everyone is 100% clean at skcan, i think kevin would get the win over rio. it is not in america so kevin is obviously not going to skate clean. a clean gogo will probs be first after the sp bc its canada but an injured gogo is a ticking time bomb. kazuki tomono.
i only say this bc ppl are saying skcan men is rlly dire because there's a bunch of names they don't know and whilst yes its not a ridiculously deep field compared to others, i don't think it is as straightforward as "oh, rio is gonna win!"
