Mr. Gautam Singhania @SinghaniaGautam who was reportedly rescued immediately by a boat behind them, couldn’t save Mr. Hari Singh? That sounds difficult to understand and raises serious questions.
The Maldives authorities and Mr. Singhania should clearly explain what exactly happened and release an official statement. I urge the national media to take this up on humanitarian grounds and push for transparency. 🙏🇮🇳

A massive fire broke out at a scrap & recycling unit at Dharavali village of Madh Island, Mumbai at 9 pm on 12 Jan 26. Two fire tenders from Air Force Station Madh Island, with a crew of 20, sprung into action as first responders arriving within 15 minutes. Quick thinking, selfless action & effective drills saved the day. The raging fire was controlled after three hours of joint efforts with civil authorities. Thanks to the team's swift response, a major disaster was averted. Homes and lives were saved by these Air Warriors. Kudos to the heroes!

Air India is in the process of completing the one-time safety checks directed by the Indian aviation regulator, DGCA. These checks are being carried out on the Boeing 787 fleet as they return to India, before being cleared for their next operations. Air India has completed such checks on nine of the Boeing 787 aircraft and are on track to complete this process for the remaining 24 aircraft within the timeline provided by the regulator. Some of these checks could lead to higher turnaround time and potential delays on certain long-haul routes especially those to airports with operating curfews. Customers will be duly notified about any delays. They are advised to check the status of their flights at airindia.com/in/en/manage/fl… before heading to the airport.
For customers affected by this disruption, refunds on cancellation or complimentary rescheduling are being offered to those who opt for it.
