ALT A flyer with the following text: The UW Vision and Cognition Lab is looking for study participants! We are studying a vision condition called amblyopia, also called lazy eye, which is when someone has poor vision in one eye even when wearing glasses. It is commonly caused in childhood by having one eye turn in or out (strabismus) or needing a different prescription in each eye (anisometropia). For this study, you will be asked to come into the lab for 3 visits and perform simple visual perception tasks. For 2 visits, you will wear an EEG cap on your head so we can record the electrical activity in your brain. We are looking for: • People between 18–75 years old who have ever been diagnosed with amblyopia • People who are 18 or 19 years old who have who have never had any vision-related problems (it’s OK if you wear glasses or contacts) Interested? For more information, contact Kim and Taylor: 206-543-5161 or [email protected]
