Hey! I promise I will post more, but if you're a designer who codes (or coder who designs), come work with me @ Kadoa! kadoa.com/careers/frontend-d…
My team is hiring! I'm looking for a FE/UX developer/designer who will help me bring Kadoa user experience to the next level (and then the next level, and so on :-) )

The next day after my previous post (a wallpaper sketch), I took a flight to Istanbul, then Madrid, Zurich, Porto, Lisboa, Gijon, Bilbao, Warsaw. Met a lot of old friends! Unfortunately no progress made on drawings. I wish that in 2025 I finish this wallpaper :-)
Happy 2025!
After more than a year of silence, here's the sketch for a new wallpaper, hopefully to be published soon! Codename Christmas Coffee Shop. Snowflakes and lights are not in the sketch, but planned :-)
"It’s been 15 months since any new wallpapers. Not bothering anymore? Finished with it?"
"such a silence from your creativity. I hope nothing bad happened to you."
"Are you there? Hope you are ok."

Dear Internet,
I'm fine and well, sorry for silence! 🧵 ⬇️
- to be completely honest, right now I am not feeling like I have something to say visually (might be related to all above). I do hope this will change; and I suspect it's somewhat a matter of discipline. Just sit down and draw a damn thing!
- I went through some personal issues that involved psychologist (all's well now). Did not help either!
- I left Russia, my home country, 2.5 years ago, as well as most of my friends and people I follow. Many of them are artists or writers. I noticed a trend of some kind of "creative apathy" among them – many creative people create much less. I may be a part of this trend as well.
Things progressed well, and today I am a full-time member of a small but excellent team, writing front-end code and doing all kinds of product-related things. I enjoy this job a lot, but there is a caveat; it takes all my time and creative energy.
- for many years, I've worked as a freelancing product designer, and as a hobby, learned a bit of programming. Couple of years ago, though, one of my projects required deeper knowledge of modern front-end development.
Let me reflect a bit and write about why I haven't been drawing lately. As often, it's a combination of many things, not one particular reason.
Airlines, from 2008.
I used to travel a lot, and I do miss being able to travel around the world! Maybe some day, though.
